About this location

I offer a secluded spot with a breathtaking view of the village of Joyeuse, on the land where I'm developing an agroecological and permaculture project. Access to private toilets and showers is available. The land adjoins the house and consists of several dry-stone terraces where I cultivate olive trees, a small vineyard, and some fruit trees, in addition to vegetable gardening. There are only two neighbors, ensuring complete privacy. The terraces overlook the village of Joyeuse and the Beaume River. The village center is about a 20-minute walk away, providing access to the lovely Wednesday morning market. The river and sports stadium are a 5-minute drive or 15-minute walk. There are many opportunities for hiking, visiting the surrounding villages, and canoeing. Informational signs are posted on the property. Thank you in advance for reading and respecting them.

There are few pitches available as a large area is used for olive groves. Therefore, we offer pitches for a maximum of 5-6 people, or two or three tents. Large tents (over 5m wide or long) cannot be pitched. We generally do not accept more than two bookings at a time to preserve the tranquility of the small farm. The pitches are located on the terraces. You must descend one or two terraces to reach them. The steps are short but may be difficult for young children. The grounds consist solely of terraces, so to access the sanitary facilities, you must climb the stone steps back to the main house. If there are no volunteers on the farm, you can use a common room with a coffee maker, teapot, and microwave. The toilets and shower are located in a separate section of the main house and are reserved for your use. Food: barbecue. Electricity available for essential equipment in the bathroom or possibility of accessing an extension cord (additional charge for ice cream, or large campervan equipment)
