Information for guests
• Animal welfare: The farm operates a dairy farm where the cows go out to pasture or stay in the cooled barn depending on the weather. Please do not enter the pastures so that the animals can graze in peace.
• Safety for children: Children are allowed to move and play freely, but only when accompanied by adults on the farm and in the stables. Parents are responsible for their children.

The world is in our hands! There is a lot to do and it starts with everyday things The term "sustainable" is on everyone's lips. And not just for fun. We all have a great responsibility to bear, because our world needs our help these days. It's not about us having to radically change everything overnight. However, if everyone does their part to protect the environment, it will pay off. With around 83 million people in Germany alone, this has a huge impact. It starts with very simple things like only leaving the light on where we need it or turning the water off in the shower while we soap up. Only using shampoo and shower bottles made of recycled plastic or, even better, buying so-called solid shampoo, solid conditioner or solid shower gel is no longer a problem. Only buying vegetables in bulk, instead of packaged in plastic, is already part of everyday life in many supermarkets. The use of shopping nets or cotton bags is also socially acceptable again. There are so many possibilities and these are just a few examples of many that can be easily and simply incorporated into everyday life and then add up to a great result. Let's help together. And we at the Reifnhof have already got a lot going. We have been awarded the "naturally conscious" seal of the Chiemgau / Chiemsee holiday region. This is what we do: ELECTRICITY VIA PHOTOVOLTAICS We produce electricity in an environmentally friendly way with our photovoltaic system. HEAT RECOVERY Our milk can do more! It is cooled in the milk tank, and in return our water is heated via heat recovery. INSULATION The insulation in our farmhouse is made of cellulose. Cellulose has ideal properties for efficient thermal insulation and is produced with low energy consumption. Our windows also have triple glazing. HEATING WITH RENEWABLE RAW MATERIALS Our farm and our wooden house are heated by a modern, fully automatic wood chip heating system. VENTILATION OF THE HOLIDAY APARTMENTS All of our apartments are equipped with modern living room ventilation. Thanks to this technology, you are constantly supplied with fresh air. NATURAL MATERIALS FOR SHEPHERD'S WAGONS Our shepherd's wagons are built entirely from wood. The interior work was carried out by a local carpenter using our own wood from sustainable forestry. REGIONALITY We pay particular attention to sourcing products and materials for our and your everyday life from the surrounding area. ANIMAL FEED Our animals are fed GMO-free. Basic feed such as grass, hay and silage is produced by us ourselves. Our cows are pasture-fed cattle and, as soon as the weather permits, they go to the surrounding lush pastures around our farm. WOODEN TOYS Our holiday apartments are equipped with wooden toys (wooden kitchen, table and chairs) for children. FARM PRODUCTS Many of our foods come from our own production: milk and beef from our cows, eggs from our chickens, quail eggs from our quails and lamb from our lambs. PLASTIC REDUCTION Our holiday apartments, shepherd's wagons and guest rooms are mostly plastic-free. WE PLANT A TREE For every 7-night stay in the shepherd's wagon and 14-night stay in a holiday apartment, we plant a tree during the forest planting season. CLEANING PRODUCTS We use sustainable cleaning products, reusable cleaning rags and attach great importance to using kitchen towels and toilet paper with the PEFC mark. DIGITAL GUEST DIRECTORY / GUEST FRIEND APP Use the Guest Friend app, our digital guest folder. This way you can find out everything about our Reifnhof without using paper. Try it out. It's very easy. WASTE SEPARATION At the Reifnhof, waste is consistently separated. Different bins are available for us and our guests.

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.
