About this location
Babous campsite is situated in the garden behind our house where we have around 6000 square metres available for tents and campers. You can choose where you want to pitch your tent or place your camper. You can also make use of our hammocks to sit back and relax or make a fire at one of the fire places. The bathrooms are located in the old barn, which we renovated from the inside. At our campsite we sell some wine and beer and at 1 kilometre distance there are two small shops where you can buy basic products. Also there are two local village bars but no restaurant. For your bigger shopping or eating out, the nearest options are in Ocna ?ugatag (8 km.) of Sighetu Marma?iei (25 km.). We have a tent for rent -for a minimum stay of two nights-. In the tent, which is meant for one or two persons, you will find a double matras and bed linen. If you hire the tent, you can use the kitchen in the hostel and of course the bathrooms. From your tent youll have a great view over the mountains! A lot of activities can be done from the hostel, like hiking in the surrounding fields, forests and mountains, visit local markets and old wooden churches, take a swim in the salt baths of the neighbouring village, and best of all, observe traditional village life. You can also rent one of our mountain bikes and bike in the forest or to the neighbouring villages. If you have any other wishes, things you want to do or questions, please let us know and we will try our best to work it out! Our access road: The last 900 metres through the village are on an unpaved road, which means the road is covered with gravel and small stones. For cars, this is no problem, we drive here every day. Small campers and caravans also can reach our campsite, although we advise you to slow down your speed to a minimum. After all, it are only 900 metres. Unfortunately, the road is not suited for caravans. Campers up untill 6 metres in lenght can reach our place.

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.
Rules
We like to let eveyone be free and to do whatever anybody wants. The only thing we do not allow is music. Since eveyone got their own taste,, we like to kep it relaxed. There is enough sounds from nature :-)
