The pitch is beautiful! We stood with our camper in the middle of the meadow, which is located on a hill above the village. From up here we had a wonderful all-round view of the landscape with its meadows and fields, in the midst of wooded hills. No matter where you stand on this meadow, you have a really beautiful view in every direction, especially at sunset.
In the evening our host made a campfire and we sat around the fire with him and the other guests. We chatted and grilled - a really nice evening!
In the morning we were woken up by birdsong, it was peacefully quiet & we enjoyed our coffee in the morning sun.
How was the contact with the host?
Ingo is a nice, funny guy who has lots of tips for things to do in the area.
The contact by email was extremely nice and quick.
Tips for new guests?
My most important tip would be: Make sure you bring wedges with you! Since the pitch is a meadow on top of a hill, there isn't really a level surface, but with two flat wedges that's no longer a problem in no time!
If you park further back on the meadow, you will have a shady spot for longer in the morning. If you don't want that, a place further up the front would be perfect.
The campfire is really nice, & it can also be grilled. Next time we would bring some wood and barbecue food.
