About this location

Historic railway station, directly in the Mulde Valley, between forest and field, near the river. Quiet pitch on the old railway station grounds, located directly on a cycling and hiking trail.

Set in greenery, large pitch at the old railway station, beside the tracks (no trains run!), wonderfully peaceful, you hear only the rustling of tree leaves, birds chirping and the nearby weir of the Mulde...it is very relaxing.

In summer we open a small snack bar on weekend afternoons.

Activities:
Relax and enjoy, slow down and simply listen to the sounds of nature.

You can enjoy great hiking and cycling, stroll through Chemnitz or eat ice cream in Penig, visit many castles, explore lost places along the railway line, cross the bridge or walk the trail to Penig.

Important information:
Warning, steep access with sharp curve.
