The agri-campsite was designed with environmental sustainability in mind: the restrooms are housed in a green building constructed from wood, straw, and hemp-lime. Hot water is produced by solar panels, while electricity comes from our photovoltaic system. Drinking water comes directly from the farm's springs. Guests have access to bathrooms, hot showers, a dishwashing area, electrical hookups, a water supply point, and a camper dumping area. Just a few minutes' walk away, you'll find the organic restaurant, natural swimming pool, vegetable gardens, food forest, and numerous trails that wind through the woods of the Casentinesi Forests National Park. In 2009, at the age of 24, at my mother's urging and with the support of my family, I purchased this land, then abandoned and with some ruins on it. Little did I know that its preservation and regeneration would become my ikigai (life purpose).
