Agnes's natu (ru) ral campsite
About this campspace #s000484
In this garden, between trees and plants, you will experience the quiet and rural Dutch life.
The local countryside. A 3-minute walk away, a natural park is situated, around a small lake. Nice for a beautiful (morning)walk. The beach is close by (North Sea; 45 min. by bike - bikes available), the site is close to city Delft (20 min. by bike) and cities Rotterdam and Den Haag (1hr by bus). The campsite is around the villa. Be welcome to camp in our yard!
In our shed there is a toilet and a water tap. There is no shower available but there are beautiful solutions. Take your own shower bag, for example. Or prick some holes in a bottle and make your own outdoor shower. As an extra service we can lend our tent to you.

Meet Agnes, your host
It was a lot of fun at Agnes Campspace. A special place between the greenhouses and within cycling distance of the sea. Agnes is great and makes sure you have a nice stay. She thought of everything: an outdoor shower, BBQ, a kitchen, and when it rains you can sit dry in the greenhouse. Very nice and highly recommended!
The contact with Agnes was easy and very friendly. The place was great and now also has an outdoor shower that is super useful. (+ kitchen, toilet, etc.) Can definitely recommend it. The only aspect to note is that the frogs in the area were very loud during the night, so perhaps future guests should bring some earplugs (or, in my case, be tired enough to fall asleep anyway).
After a short walk through nature reserve 't Kraaiennest, which is a stone's throw from this Campspace, I was welcomed by the hospitable Agnes and Ben. After a warm welcome, they offered me a choice of camping spots around the house, I chose a quiet location place next to the house in a lot of greenery. In the morning the woolly house chicken and cockerel roamed around my tent. You can learn a lot from Agnes and Ben about the horticultural sector that is very characteristic of this environment and you would also have your green fingers. be able to put them to work in their own greenhouse. This Campspace is a wonderful place among the farmlands, perfect if you want to combine urban activities with a typical Dutch landscape: the Randstad is not far away here, but there are also many hiking opportunities in the area: ideal if you want to combine hiking and camping!
We were received hospitably and the place was very worthwhile. Agnes gave us a very pleasant guide and the facilities, sanitary, and kitchen were excellent. It was also surprising to us that there is a beautiful nature reserve nearby. The camping spot is also located on a body of water.
On arrival we were warmly welcomed and we were allowed to choose between a place under the tree in the front garden or by the greenhouse. We chose for the sunny lawn near the greenhouse. In the greenhouse we could use the toilet and kettle. Agnes also showed us the vegetable gardens in the greenhouse, where she could explain us everything about the different vegetables that grow there.
The camping site is close to the centre of De Lier (10 minutes by bike) and the nature reserve Het Kraaiennest (The crows nest). It is a beautiful place, and definitely worth camping for once!
The Campspace in the Lier is a beautiful place with lovely evening sun. The host Agnes does everything she can to make you feel comfortable and she visibly enjoys receiving new people on her premises. There is a private toilet and a nice kitchen that you can use. There is no shower available (yet, Agnes showed me they are working on an outdoor shower), but bringing your own shower bag is no problem. The environment is so beautiful! I actually have no tips for future guests: if you like small-scale camping in a nice spot, this is definitely recommended.
We had a nice stay at Agnes’ in de Lier. Agnes is a pleasant and friendly hostess. We stood with our tent on the water with some shade. We could use the canteen to make coffee and there were bicycles to borrow. The outdoor shower in construction was great for rinsing off. Every day we got some goodies from our own greenhouse: Melon, raspberries, cucumber. Highly recommended.
Campfire ok. We don't like pets. We respect nature and leave waste in the bins.
