About this location

A shaded and secure space under cedar trees, located in Avignon's green belt in an agricultural setting. A 15-minute walk from the tram, which takes you to Avignon city center in ten minutes. The space borders the vegetable garden. The chicken coop is separate (no rooster!). Enjoy permanent shade near a small bamboo grove, in a peaceful setting. Visiting Avignon, a cultural city and capital of the Côtes du Rhône wine region, rich in history, as well as the Vaucluse, Gard, and Bouches-du-Rhône departments, will be made easier with the provision of informational materials. In 2026, the Avignon IN and OFF Theatre Festivals (of international renown) will take place from Saturday, July 4th to Saturday, July 25th. Another very important point: Guests are required to exercise extreme caution regarding the increasingly frequent risk of fires in the region due to drought.

I limit parking (on level ground) to four vehicles, so my guests can enjoy their stay in complete peace of mind. The site is approximately 70 meters from my house. So far, all non-oversized campervans have been able to park without difficulty.
The site is equipped with a sanitary block (shower with hot water, toilet, large sink).
Wifi is available.
Each location is equipped with a terminal providing access to water and electricity.
On occasion I can lend kitchen equipment (and also a barbecue which must be used in a secure area due to the risk of fire).
I can help out with basic products (salt, sugar, butter, bread, etc.) and possibly take grocery orders while my guests are on vacation.

Quiet after 11 p.m. Once installed, comings and goings are possible at all hours of the day and night while respecting the peace and quiet of any neighbors. For this, a remote control of the gate can be obtained against a security deposit of €30. Selective sorting of waste will be encouraged by the provision of three separate bins as well as a composter.

Attention! Avignon Festival, July 4th to 25th. Limited spaces available during this period. Book your spot quickly! A retired teacher, I spent most of my professional career abroad (Nigeria, Tunisia, Pakistan, Senegal). I returned to my homeland in the summer of 2021. Since then, I've been gardening and intend to share part of my 8,000m² space, located in Avignon's Green Belt, with my visitors. Open to discussion, I hope that welcoming curious and environmentally conscious visitors will provide me with many opportunities to share my passion for Avignon and Provence.
