Back to basics in style!
With our tiny tiny houseboat you can literally go in any direction. The Veersemeer is an elongated lake in the middle of Zeeland, with 55 km of coastline and 13 undeveloped islands. You can moor for free and spend the night at the jetties along the lake or on one of the islands. The boat offers 4 berths (a bunk bed for children and a sofa bed), with bedding. On board is a small tank of water (10 l), a shower bag (20 l), camping gas stove and a bbq. There is no toilet, but there are chemical toilets along every jetty in the lake.
A sailing license is not necessary. Before departure you will receive an explanation and it is possible to sail a bit accompanied. Boarding point is possible in consultation at one of the places along the Veerse Meer.

Very lovely location at Spuren Piet, despite not being able to sail due to the high winds. We had everything we needed and enjoyed a very unique couple of nights.

Wonderful accommodation on the water! The Veerse Meer is a lovely lake and you can moor and spend the night in many places (for free). The 'boathouse' is tastefully decorated and the bed sleeps well! The presence of the sup and the hammock chair topped it off.
How was the contact with the host?
The contact with the host went well.
Tips for new guests?
Get up early, enjoy the sunrise and take a dip in the still water!

Super fun experience sailing across the Veerse Meer with the raft.
It's wonderful to moor on one of the uninhabited islands after a day of sailing, prepare dinner, sit in the nocturnal peace of the lake for a while and then spend the night on the raft. Waking up in a thick fog and literally seeing the day break open.
How was the contact with the host?
Very smooth reception.
Everything was explained very clearly.
Tips for new guests?
Hoping for not too many waves on the lake.

In itself a nice experience on the houseboat. That looks really great!! Just a pity that there were engine problems and the sup pump was broken so we could not use it.
How was the contact with the host?
Super! Very friendly and flexible woman.

Water-saving measures
No running water and electricity on board; just enjoy nature!
Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded.
Please adhere to the rules on the lake and do not sail too fast with the boat. If you stay on the same free jetty for more than one night, you can be fined. If you want to get away from the boat for a day to see a town, moor in a harbor because leaving it unattended in the lake is not allowed.
Rental does not include petrol for sailing and gas for the camping set. Costs are about 15 euros per day if you enjoy sailing a few pieces.
The insurance does not cover rental! Take out insurance yourself if desired.
It is not possible to sail from wind force 4. In consultation we can then see if we can get the boat to a quiet place, or you can rebook or cancel.
