About this location

We are Ellen & Nico and we warmly welcome you to our ecological garden of 3,000m² to spend the night and enjoy all the beauty that nature has to offer here. ����

We accept only one booking at a time, so you will be the only guests staying in the garden. We do rent out a guest room, so it is possible that those guests will also enjoy the garden.

�� �� When we purchased the property, we started with the existing old orchard with apple, pear and cherry trees and have expanded it over the years with new fruit trees and shrubs, a large vegetable garden, pond, wildflower meadow and flower borders specially designed for various pollinators. We also have a pony, a goat, a few chickens, 2 cats and 2 lovely dogs.

⛺ �� You can camp in the garden with your own tent, camper or caravan.
Or you can choose to stay in a super nice retro caravan. Prefer to camp in luxury, you can do that in our furnished glamping tent. Our tent has a diameter of 4.5m and an area of 16m². This gives you more than enough space in the tent.

�� �� To make it a fun and cosy time, we also have a fire bowl, pétanque court, old wooden foosball table, dartboard, Kubb and a suitcase full of games for young and old. In bad weather, it is also possible to camp, barbecue and spend quality time under the half-open old hay barn.

����‍♂️ In the surrounding area there are various nature reserves with marked walks. We are also close to the Flemish Ardennes with famous cycling climbs such as the Muur, Bosberg, Molenberg and Berendries. Also plenty of nice marked mountain bike routes. These routes are all part of the Mountain Bike Network South-East Flanders, with a total of 490 continuous kilometres of mountain biking through the South-East Flemish nature !
We are happy to provide you with more detailed information and maps.

���� For our campers we have a separately accessible, new bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. There is also drinking water, electricity and a fridge available. Everything is accessible even when we are not at home.

A number of extras can be booked at the end of the booking, but these can certainly also be arranged on the spot.

We are Ellen & Nico and have been living in Wanzele for about 10 years now. Over the years we have adapted the garden to an ecological garden, which is constantly changing. Myself, Ellen, I have been a beekeeper for a few years, am a herbalist and herb processor. Nico is an avid cyclist, both on the road and in the field. We are happy to welcome you with the necessary explanation about all our different passions.
