About this campspace #s000354

Rhydfach is a 2.5 hectare smallholding located in a small valley between Lys-y-fran country park and the Preseli hills within the Pembrokeshire National Park. There is ample space to pitch a tent in one of our gently sloping fields sheltered by trees and with a fast clear running stream flowing down one side. A small camp fire is permitted and firewood can be supplied or you are welcome to collect your own. Toilet and shower facilities are located within our two bedroom mobile home located in the same field, which is also available for rent with a minimum two night booking. There are forestry tracks for mountain biking nearby and the nearest village is two kilometres with a grocery shop, garage, a pub and a post office. The nearest beach is at Newport which is 13 kilometres or 25 minutes by car. We are also on the sustran cycle route 47 (Celtic route). We have a small lake on our land where you can sit and watch the wildlife and is deep enough for a swim. if you like wild swimming there is also a large deep pool with crystal clear water nearby. It is Wales, so the water will be cold unless the weather is hot..

The coastline offers the opportunity for a wide variety of watersports including surfing and sea kayaking. The 240 kilometre coast path stretches from Cardigan to Amroth in the South of Pembrokeshire and from the more remote cliff tops seals can be seen bobbing in the water. Fishguard which has a small ferry port to Ireland hosts jazz and folk festivals
