Your host
PiaNice idyllic spot near the Wad. Where the silence is audible.
In my garden there is an opportunity to place a tent or camper. Please tent on the side where the Rustpunt has been realized in the grass. Behind the shed is a compost toilet, please keep it tidy. My garden is located on the double dike behind Bierum. A Utopia for peace and space lovers. There are walking and cycling routes. I am not a camping site but make my garden available, if you are not there you feel free to take a spot.

Hi! I am Pia de Wikster van het Wad. Wikster means Witch in Groningen. My garden is located near the Wad. I like to share this place with nature lovers, who like peace and quiet, just like me. I work in healthcare and have different working hours. Feel free to pitch your tent or camper even in my absence.
Greetings Pia

Original, authentic and magical place for hikers, cyclists and campers. Also well arranged for camper. Nice inspiring garden with different houses where there is plenty to do. A stone's throw from a beautiful beach. Great for when you like to be the only camper and like something different.

Pia, we loved it! So nice to have met you and would like to thank you for your hospitality. Unique place that also gave color to our monster scooter tour. Nice that we were allowed to robdscrawl everywhere, use the canteen and cuddle with hocus

I spent a very relaxing weekend in Pia's garden, and when the weather was ideal, I was able to ride my bike and find peace and quiet on the nearby small beach. When it rains, you can retreat to the small, cozy niches in the garden and enjoy nature. Everything was very clean.
How was the contact with the host?
Pia is a very good host, who - if you want, has something to say and also has an ear for the guests.

Although it was a very windy day/night we really enjoyed our stay. The little beach of Bierum is just a few minutes walking from the garden. Pia is very friendly and helpful. She has a lovely garden. She really put in her heart/spirit and the place has a really nice feel because of it. If you want to know more about her witchery-practices/passion you are welcome to ask her and if you don't she leaves you in peace The dry toilet works well! :)

The beautiful spot of Pia is located near the seawall. Her garden radiates peace and hospitality. A really nice place to pitch your tent after a nice road trip through the wide Groningen or after a wonderful bike ride. There is a great outdoor kitchen to do your dishes, a clean toilet, picnic tables, and a place to sit under the roof when the weather is unexpectedly bad. A stone’s throw away you will find a beautiful small beach and you can take small or larger walks nearby to enjoy the beautiful Groningen landscape. In short: Highly recommended!
