We pitched our tent here for 2 nights while traveling from the coast of Normandy. Despite the bad weather, this was a very beautiful location with beautiful views from our tent. Wonderful to walk past the horses in the morning with a cup of coffee and say hello to the goats and other animals. The sanitary facilities are basic, but certainly sufficient.

How was the contact with the host?
When we arrived, Marie was busy, but we were kindly helped by another person on the farm. During our stay, Marie herself also came to check with us to check whether everything was in order and as desired. Very pleasant experience!

Wonderful stay! I was here for 4 nights which is longer than most as I stopped over in the area. Lovely, quiet, super friendly environment. Came with my two dogs which wasn't a problem at all - close to the coast! Only downside was the lack of internet/wifi, but that will only be relevant to people like myself who work remotely and travel full-time. I realise that most are on vacation when they travel and so that won't be an issue! Great host, great price, great location - definitely coming again if I pass by here.

How was the contact with the host?

Excellent location and tranquility on the beautiful horse ranch!
It was not easy to reach the owner by telephone due to my late arrival, but this was ultimately no problem.
Don't rely too much on the local toilet and shower if hygiene is your top priority.

Beautiful place. Stately Norman house surrounded by the riding school. Rural and quiet. Always a maximum of 8 campers on the camping meadow. This is adjacent to the meadow with small animals that you can cuddle.
The toilet, shower and sink are located on the top floor of the horse stable. There is also a lounge area.

How was the contact with the host?
Fine. Quick response. Friendly.

Tips for new guests?

We stayed one night on the farm, and we could select a place for our campervan between the fields with horses. It was very quiet at night, during the day there are horse-related activities on the farm. Simple but adequate facilities, good spot for horse lovers

How was the contact with the host?
The contact with the host was fine, she welcomed us and showed us where everything is

Tips for new guests?

Quiet place, beautiful location with a beautiful view of the meadow and the horses! Option to choose your own camping spot. Not far from Fecamp and Etretat which in our opinion were too touristy .... beautiful cycling routes nearby. We didn't see much of the owners, because they work hard on the equestrian farm. Bathroom and toilet in the barn within walking distance. Those who love the wide open will be happy here!
One of our better places in Normandy!

How was the contact with the host?
OK.

Arne

Tell us about your experience
Enjoyed the quiet camping place between the animals. More than 40 horses, a few dogs, chickens, goats and a pot-bellied pig, together with expansive panoramic views, provided the ideal resting place. We were given a spacious and clean grass pitch to set up our tents.
The only downside was that the shower barely worked, but you had to pay for this per person in advance. Not a disaster for us since we were in the sea a few hours later 😄

How was the contact with the host?
Marie immediately dropped her job to receive us and show us around in a very friendly and relaxed way. When you got up you immediately got the feeling of farm life as everyone was up early.

Tips for new guests?
Be sure to take a walk around the farm to discover how many animals there are. Don't forget to unfold your seat in the evening and enjoy the sunset and the view!

We stayed for two nights and had a great time at the campsite surrounded by horses. We found 1 shower and 1 toilet a bit little for the amount of guests on the campsite.

How was the contact with the host?

August 2022

Pascal

Tell us about your experience
The place is visually nice, the arrival is independent and we sit where we want. We are in the heart of the equestrian center, the meadows of the horses surround the campsite. The spaces are sufficient not to be on top of each other and the campsite was far from full. For us the big negative point was the lack of sanitary infrastructure. 1 toilet and 1 shower for all campers is too little and leads to queues. For the rest, the site is charming.

How was the contact with the host?
All incoming contacts were clear and precise.

Tips for new guests?
There are many animals (horses, ducks, hens, roosters, etc.) on the site and if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs;).

Chaos!
Hugely busy reception. Marie barely had time for the reception. Lots of campers and horse activities.
I was given a spot on an un-mown practice field. Upon reaching my spot I almost drove into a buried water trough. Unfortunately, there was a group of young Dutch people opposite me who were quite noisy and selfish.
In the evening there was a disco at the riding school until late at night. So I didn't get much sleep, but the other morning I had to drive all day again.
Luckily I didn't have to stay here any longer.
I have not seen any sanitary facilities, no drinking water supply and no electricity.
I would drive past this place next time.

How was the contact with the host?
Chaotic.
