About this location

Since 2018, we have been transforming an existing poplar forest into a food forest. Tent pitches have been created in the forest, and at the forest edge there is space for a few small campervans. Your pitch is surrounded by fruit trees, berry bushes, herbs and wild grasses. There is no electricity or water at the pitches, but there is a central location. If you want to camp with us, it is a requirement that you respect nature and leave as little waste as possible (in the designated bins). We are happy to help you with this; we sell packaging-free products in our shop and vegetables, fruit and eggs directly from the garden. It is also possible to order bread and breakfast dishes. We are small-scale, with 20 pitches spread over 3 hectares, and our guests are peace-seekers. You will certainly find that peace here. After just one day, guests usually feel reborn and completely at ease. In the forest there is a communal fire pit with a grill. Disposable barbecues and fires at your tent are not allowed. There is also a communal fridge and kettle that you can use. In the forest there is a sanitary building with two composting toilets and a hot and cold shower. Because there is no sewage system, no soap/shampoo may be used and only (a small amount of) ecological washing-up liquid for washing up. A little further on there is more luxurious sanitary facilities with wonderful showers and flush toilets, where ecological soap/shampoo may be used.
Our location is close to Middelburg and Vlissingen, 3km from the Westerschelde. You are also close to the North Sea beaches or the picturesque Veere or Veerse lake.
