MelWORLD CLASS TROUT FISHING!
Location: We are located 3.4mi north of River Falls, WI (population 15,000) on 2 acres of prairie right next to the Kinnickinnic River Land Trust, encompassing hundreds of acres of public hunting and fishing ground. The nice fishing spot on the river is about a 3-5 minute walk! The Kinni provides world-class fishing, especially for trout.
Our home and 20x30ft garden are works in progress. Our dedicated camping spot includes a fire pit and Little Free Library.
Fires/BBQs: Please keep any fires in the dedicated fire pit and ensure it's put out before you leave. I also have a grill on my screened porch, and for $5 you are welcome to use it.
Facilities: You are welcome to come inside to use our bathroom and shower when we are home (which is most of the time). Otherwise, the closest gas station is 3.4 miles away.
Kids: We are super family friendly! Our son would love to visit with your kids.
Dogs: They are welcome outside so long as you pick up after them. We have cats in our home that are not allowed outside. Our neighbors have two huge Great Danes on their property with an invisible fence.
Internet: Verizon 4G works very well here. I do have limited data internet available for you in a pinch, but it's slow.
Power: We have a long extension cord run out towards the garden for the lights in our tree that you can use.
Food: I am generous sharing coffee, tea, and sweets. I enjoy cooking for people, and am happy to arrange to share a meal.
