About this campspace

2-(3) person shelter or tent pitch by a beautiful lake. Here you can enjoy the sunset and wake up to the sight of ducks, swans, deer, hares and various birds and fish life.
It is possible to fish in the lake (for your own needs) and cook your food over a fire. At the shelter is a smaller fire pit and 50 meters up the field, a larger fire pit with firewood is available.

The shelter is on the outskirts of Ringsted and is located by Høm Mølle, which contains a lot of history. The city and station are not far here, and at the same time the Ringsted Experience Trail starts on the other side of the road. In addition, there are shopping opportunities 300 meters away.

We have good toilet facilities. Option to purchase additional breakfast at weekends, by agreement (DKK 75/person). If you are a larger group, it is possible to set up tents for an extra fee. You must bring everything for the stay yourself.

Bring your own fishing rod and you are welcome to fish in our private stream or lake.
There may be other guests on the site who also use the fire pit and toilet.

We had a really good experience at Marcella's place. The shelter is new and nice, although on the small side. There was a campfire approx. 100 meters from the shelter and plenty of firewood, as well as a really nice toilet with a sink and both cold and hot water. We had ordered breakfast from Marcella and wow, what a feast! It was simply so luxurious, with both pancakes, home-baked buns, yogurt, juice and coffee, etc. I can recommend that!

How was the contact with the host?
Marcella responded quickly to all my inquiries and is a very welcoming and warm person :)

Tips for new guests?
The shelter is located on a really nice natural site - unfortunately there is a fairly busy road close to the site and that means noise from cars. It is a minus, but difficult to change. Everything else was perfect though!
