About this campspace

*** winter-ready *** electric heating inside *** cozy campfire outside *** extra fleece blankets for inside and outside *** roasting marshmallows *** taking a break

Enjoy the peace and nature ...
Completely secluded you stay on a sheep pasture in a small gypsy wagon nicely furnished with a pull-out sofa bed to a double bed. You, your travel companion, nature, the beautiful panoramic view over the hilly landscape of Tienen and the surrounding area ... that's just enjoying! The world comes to a standstill here for a moment while a few good ones keep you company.
Are you on the GR 128, are you following a cycle route via the node network or do you just want to get away from it all, then you've come to the right place.

The sanitary facilities are completely private and back to nature. An eco toilet has been specially designed for guests, small laundry can be done at the washbasin, and for enthusiasts there is an outdoor shower to take a nice shower in nature!

In the colder months an electric heating is provided in the cabin, which makes it nice and warm quickly. For the night you get an extra blanket. The shower is truly an experience in the summer, and quite a challenge in the winter. However, guests think it is a delightful experience. The water is nice and warm and inside the cabin too.

You can cook on the gas burner or barbecue with your own meal. Nice coffee and tea is available and set at your own pace ... a breakfast package is available on request or you can provide it yourself.
In the evening you make it cozy with a fire bowl and a nice drink!

Your batteries are fully charged here, and that of the bike too!
If you prefer not to cook yourself, there is within walking distance:
Brasserie Café Godison at 1km (closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays)
Fry shop at Paco at 300m (closed on Mondays and Sundays), once again voted best fry shop in Tienen and boroughs in 2020.
At a distance of 4 km there is a lot of culinary choice in Tienen or Hoegaarden. Info and advice always available based on preferences and budget.

Naturally, all corona measures are taken into account and hygiene is given the highest priority.

Our stay was everything we could have hoped for and more. Getting up in a warm bed with a view over the meadows and the sheep is a must for anyone looking for peace and quiet. Kris and Kristel were very friendly and we could contact them with all our questions.

We received a very warm welcome from Katrien. The location is idyllic and the home-built caravan is very cosy. Really nicely made with attention to a warm rustic atmosphere.
All facilities for cooking and hygiene are there and everything is pico bello maintained. We also used the outdoor shower (at a degree or 3) but the water was nice and warm.
Lots of wood is provided to make a cozy fire in the fire bowl and blankets to keep warm.
The breakfast was very extensive and very tasty, with authentic local products.

Highly recommended for a romantic overnight stay.
