We booked last minute and everything went just fine. They had a nice place with a shower, toilet and space to sit under a roof. We could not catch our train to our next stop, so they drove us there. All in All they were really nice hosts, who care about their visitors.

Very nice garden with enough space. Very cosy shower and good facilities.
Gino and his family are very kind and easy to talk to. They will help you and give good advice for how to visit the beautifull city of Rome.
You can walk to the trainstation and the supermarket. For us as hikers very important.
We hope we can come back one day!

On a hot day: visit Ostia antica early in the morning and go to the beach in the afternoon. Good combination.
Also on a hot day: go to the catacomba of St. Calixto and plan a visit.

The parking space in Gino's garden is really ideal, and the access with the camper works well.
Large and small shops are within walking distance, as is the train station.
I liked the trips to Rome by train and they were interesting.
How was the contact with the host?
Gino and his family are very friendly, they help where they can and can always be reached in an emergency.

How was the contact with the host?

We were in Rome and everything was very easy to reach from Gino's garden. Train station nearby, Gino explains everything. But don't forget you're really in the city and it was reasonably quiet. But you are also in Rome. Must have done it.. would have worked, Gino would have offered a living cabin and even his garden shed.

Gino and wife are very nice

Tips for new guests?
It's a bit noisy with the airfield in the proximity, but if you don't mind it then there's no worries. Car can be parked safely in his garden.

We had a great stay! We had great weather and enjoyed the garden a lot. The garden is big, had a toilet and kitchenette in the gardenhouse. Including a small fridge! The outside shower has got cold water but the weather was so hot that is was no problem for us! We did wrap a tarp around the trellis for some privacy. The location is good to visit Rome. You can take a train or bus to the center of Rome from 'casabianca' at 15min walk. Lake Albano is a nice spot for cooling or swimming closeby. We also have been to Anzio beach. Not the closest beach to Rome but sooo worth the hour drive! Really authentic Italian feel!
How was the contact with the host?
The host is really friendly and helpfull. Contact was easy with whatsapp.
Tips for new guests?
good-weather? Go visit Anzio!

On the way to Rome by camper, sounds great, but Rome is a huge parking challenge: is it safe, is it not too expensive? This place is the solution for motorhome owners who want to visit Rome without having to think about the safety of their motorhome. The camper is in the garden and the gate is locked. A welcome by a very nice host Gino, who even sent a whatsapp message with more information after booking. He could tell us all about how best to get to Rome, gave us a map of the city and all train/bus times. A small downside is that it rained during our stay and the bus sunk a few centimeters into the grass. Tip for the owner: sprinkle some pebbles on the parking space so that it is easy to park in the winter/rainy season.
The facilities are basic but all you need! A toilet inside a cute wooden garden shed is very pleasant, and for the summer months there is even a (cold) outdoor shower. There is also electricity and a cozy tent where you can sit at the garden table with chairs.
For us: the perfect place to visit Rome and its surroundings without any worries!

The host is really friendly and quickly responds to questions (WhatsApp). The garden is very big and it has a toilet, open air shower (no heater) and a shelter with a table! We got information to travel to the center and he even proposed to pick us up in vase of problems. So the perfect stay if you like basic accommodation with a local host!

We stayed in our campervan with 2 kids for 6 nights to explore Rome. The garden was big enough for our kids to also play a lot. We could use the toilet and kitchen sink inside the cabin, and the garden furniture.
The airport field is about 1km away. It's not the busiest airport (it doesn't run at night), but there is of course some noise now and then. We slept fine and the kids in the rooftop tent weren't bothered by it either.
Would definitely recommend if you don't want to spend more on hotels.
How was the contact with the host?
Always reachable, very friendly & flexible, helpful with tips. 👌🏼
Tips for new guests?
Transportation
- Walk to closest station Casabianca is 1.2km.
- Trains from Casabianca almost every hour (except on Sundays, then only about every 2h). Directly in 22 minutes to Roma Termini. 1.5 EUR single ticket.
- Make sure to board first wagons on return, since not all wagons reach the short platform in Casabianca.
- For trains that run a lot more frequently, walk to Ciampino station (2.5km), or use Acqua Acetosa (1.4km).
Other Services
- Laundromat is 1.3km away. 6 euros for small machine, 8 for medium.
-Big supermarket at 400m
- Great bicycling shop & service at 800m.
Things to see
- The Via Appia Antica ends near the Casabianca train station. If you have a bike, this is a great and really beautiful - albeit bumpy :) - ride to get to the centre.

The area in Gino's garden is very large and clean. The shower is a bit dated but still sufficient for a few days of camping.
In the garden shed guests have a refrigerator, a sink and a toilet at their disposal.
Everything was in good condition and clean.
In front of the garden shed is a large pavilion with a table and chairs. So you can eat or sit together in the shade.
Unfortunately, the area was very noisy during the day but especially at night.
The airport is only a few hundred meters away, so every plane can be heard clearly. The street that borders Gino's garden is also busy (even at night). Extremely loud dogs in the neighborhood and an even louder garden gate woke us up several times. Accordingly, the rating of 3 stars.
How was the contact with the host?
The contact with Gino was very uncomplicated and fast. If there were any questions or problems, he was directly available and tried to find a solution.
Tips for new guests?
Be prepared that the train from your accommodation to the center of Venice will either be very late or even cancel. Taxis are getting expensive.

Ciao Jon
Thanks for being in our garden.
Strange usually the trains are always punctual, probably there were problems on the Roma Velletri line.
I'm sorry.
Aircraft problem!!!
Living there is no longer a problem for us.
I understand that it can be annoying for those who are not used to it.
However, I specify that
we are talking about a secondary airport with little traffic and at night it closes.
Usually the area is quiet without too much noise.
Thanks for being in our garden
Ciao!!!!
