About this campspace

This place called 'Biesbos' in the middle of the greenery has recently become our nature spot on 'the outside'. We and our dog are there very often, but we also want others to enjoy this place. In the long term, this should become a food forest and a place to experience nature. We also want guests to enjoy this forest in the making. That is why there are 3 camping pitches in addition to our own chalet: 1 caravan and 2 camping pitches for a tent. From this place you can enjoy walking and cycling in many special nature reserves, including the Langdonken, Goor Asbroek and the forests around Averbode Abbey. There is an extensive hiking trail network that passes by our location. Mountain bikers and cyclists will also get their money's worth here. If you prefer to go to a city, you can go to Aarschot with many cultural options. For your shopping you can go to Herstelt or Wolfsdonk. A bicycle is available for shopping.

We are Patty and Freek. By purchasing our renovated vintage caravan (Eriba Triton 1977) we got to know Campspace and a lot of nice places. Now that we have our own nature spot, we also want other guests to enjoy it. Patty in particular has a green thumb and likes to work with paint and clay. Freek is delving into food forests and also likes to work with wood (turning). Together we especially like walking with our dog Basil (Bordercoli).

Tips

We save water by using the dry toilet, collect as much rainwater as possible and partially purify it using an IBA. We also have our outdoor shower that is heated by the sun.
