It is situated near small village in the middle of the Ardenne. When we arrived at Porcheresse and we’re nicely welcomed by Sarah and Laurent. They were very helpful in finding the best spot for our Landrover. The campsite is very idyllic with a fireplace, a tower to view the area and if you lucky spot a Reebok. They even made a deck in a tree where you can enjoy you appetitive during sunset. We enjoyed cooking our meal on the fire, the total silence and the full moon. We would have loved to stay another night but we couldn’t unforgivable. We will definitely come back some anther time and stay longer to explore the area and do some hikes.

When we left we were given wild mushrooms freshly picked by the family.

Super for when you love the basic camping. You have to take your own water with you. There is no running water.

We were a bit afraid at first that there wouldn't be enough privacy and it would really be in someone's backyard. Nothing could be further from the truth here. This was even better than expected! A very nice and quiet campspace near a large meadow, peacefull place and a tower (acually some kind of playground) with a nice view over the area. Beautiful hikes nearby and certainly not too crowded. Even though it was a short trip, it got us out of the daily rush and the nature surroundings are fantastic! Thanks again Sarah!

Sarah wished us a very warm welcome and guided us towards the place, located in the very back of her yard. She came in to check if all was OK and even got us a locally brewed and personalized beer to enjoy next to the campfire.
