I had previously sent my review but something went wrong?
What a beautiful place to find peace. Fully equipped and if you miss something, just ask. Then it will be arranged.
You stand with the camper and or tent on your own spot right behind the house. Adjacent trees with plums, deliciously sweet and the bush with Chinese cherry. Also tasty.
There is a large swimming pool and a beautiful view over the valley.
Roosters crow, chickens tick and goats bleat. You are in the Italian culture and a small village with a modest shop, bar / pizzeria and 300 meters further the bakery and butcher.
You are/live together with Italians for a while.
In terms of contact, you are the initiator, after all you need something, eg use of washing machine no problem, very hospitable and helpful.
You live on land for a while with the necessary insects.
Accept the mosquitoes like the Italians and apply yourself well, do not scratch, and otherwise prick away. Pharmacy next door.
It was paradise for us and the mosquitoes.
Comments? Tips?
Communication via the 'campspace' website is only adequate with good WiFi or internet coverage, but is slow. Took a while before the confirmation came in, meanwhile we had adjusted the data in the application.
Also the language that created a small barrier did not help at first. until I could write it in Italian via translate app (internet).
Circumstances; We were in high season and many campsites were full. So we were gesture at prompt communication.

In short :
If you want to avoid or avoid the large tourist group?
This is a top place with privacy, friendly people.
Enjoying the view, sunset, swimming, resting and reading.

How was the contact with the host?
Fine, go slowly?
But better in Italian.

We’ve had a very pleasant stay at Lucias place. The garden where we could set up our tent was very nice, especially to have shadow during the day. We woke up by the sound of the roosters and chickens. We’ve felt welcome by the hospitality of the signora, the mother of Lucia.

How was the contact with the host?
Uitstekend, vlot. Host zelf niet ontmoet, wel zijn moeder.

Thank you so much Milly, I'm glad that you had a pleasant stay. My mother Pia is the host, I don't live there but I manage the reservations for her, so that's why "PratoPia's" :-)

We stayed one week at Pia's place. Our stay in the garden was extremely pleasant. Pia and her daughter Lucia are so sweet and welcoming! They welcomed us with such warmth and kindness and really made our stay in the Langhe area an amazing experience. Pia's garden is very nice. There's a lot of space, many different fruit trees, some cute pets and animals and a big swimming pool. When there are no clouds you can see the beautiful Alps on the horizon. We couldn't have asked for more. We would definitely go there again, both because of the place itself but first and foremost because of Pia and Lucia. We recommend it with all of our hearts.

During our drive up there we were surprised by the beautiful sunset over the Piedmont landscape. We said to each other 'this can only be an unforgettable experience'. Which was more than true... Through the little square and church we approached the Campspace. The host awaits us with a big smile and they provide all the appliances that we need for our RV; water, electricity, shower and toilet. All this is available right under the swimming pool. The Campspace overlooks the fields of Cellarengo; a small and peaceful village. With clear skies you can even see the top of the Alps. Right next to the Campspace is an 'Osteria', a real Italian dine and wine place. If possible, make sure you join the lunch on Sunday... unforgettable! If you are looking for a beautiful spot to relax, experience the true Italian culture and enjoy some space; this is it!

We had a very nice and warm stay!

Lucia's mother is so nice, helpfull and generous.

Its a nice spot to stay, there is a swimming pool and small bathroom entering from outside. We didnt need anything more.

How was the contact with the host?
The contact on campspace went very well. We didnt meet Lucia, but her mother was also a very good host.

Tips for new guests?
For big tents it would be a challenge to find a flat space in the garden.

August 2021

Host Paolo has responded

Thank you so much Hannah!

Yes, the garden is characterized by a slight slope so there is place only for one or two tents for two-three people. But there is also a shady space for big campervan!
