First Campspace experience and it couldn't have been any better. The beautiful private camping spot on Tjitte & Karlijn's property was exactly what we're looking for to completely unwind for the weekend. We truly felt like we were far out in nature. Super cozy place to set up your camp (either secluded by forest or in a wide open meadow), nice place for a fire and beautiful surroundings. Enjoyed every minute of it!

How was the contact with the host?
The hosts are super friendly, easy going, welcoming and also true nature lovers. Had some nice conversations about the place and at the same time they respect your privacy during your stay and just let you 'be'. We felt 100% welcome and comfortable and also communication upon arrival was quick and smooth. Thanks for the great hospitality!

Tips for new guests?
A perfect place if you're planning a short camping trip. There's nature, space, a compost toilet, a water point and a fire place. Everything you need if you're into setting up your own camp, unwind and enjoy living the simple outdoor life. Definitely recommend!

It's great that you enjoyed this yard so much. You are true lovers of simplicity and nature and we could see that from your findings and stories. You hadn't really done camping in the Netherlands, close to home, and what an honor that it could be with us! We look forward to seeing you next time!

I had bought new gear for a longer tour in the woods and this place was perfect to test it out. There was a water point and composting toilet (a real luxury for me). You have a piece of forest and meadow perfect for 2 men or a small family.
The flora and fauna is fantastic. I was able to relax wonderfully in the 3 days, cook my food and water on the hobo stove and enjoy nature.

It is a small oasis for those who like camping and building a camp. If you sleep lightly, you should take hearing protection with you, because there is probably a motorway or something nearby, which wasn't a problem for me.

I thank the hosts for sharing this beautiful place. Will come back for sure.

How was the contact with the host?
Contact with the host was easy and friendly. Had a very nice and long conversation, which impressed me a lot. Thank you for that.

Tips for new guests?
Please treat nature with care and respect it.
If you want to wash, please use natural soap because of the environment.

Beautiful, quiet place. We chose the pasture. Welcoming, friendly reception and received a lot of explanation about the purchase of and plans with this beautiful piece of forest and meadow. Before our arrival, a compost toilet had been set up and later a jerry can for hand washing. For example, something will probably always be devised / placed / developed. We'd love to come back to check it out!
In the meantime, this place is highly recommended for people who want and can camp in a simple, basic way and who love peace and quiet! Away from the crowds, beautiful place! Also very suitable for bicycle campers!
Tjitte and Karlijn good luck with all plans and activities!

How was the contact with the host?
Excellent, friendly, hospitable, received a lot of information about the plans!

Tips for new guests?
Nice quiet place, very friendly hosts. You have to like basic camping.

At Tjitte and Karlijn you camp in the woods or in the meadow. We chose the forest and that was great! What could be better than being awakened by the birds? And the forest does good! I was able to experience again what a calming effect all that green has.

How was the contact with the host?
We were warmly welcomed by Tjitte who can tell a lot about the terrain, the environment and actually about everything 😉

Tips for new guests?
There are many hiking options and you can start directly from the site. Beautiful area!
