Domaine des Jeunes Fleurs is located in the middle of France (about 900 km from Utrecht), in the Corréze department. A former goat farm that we are transforming into an ecological paradise full of biodiversity. The terrain, of 12 hectares, is contiguous and has both fields and forest. There is also a stream running through it. In our yard are two large barns, a garage (which will be converted into a gîte in due course) and our house.
At the moment there is everything in planting, an orchard, a food forest and thickets. But despite the fact that it is a landscape in motion, it is already a wonderful place to stay.
In the yard there is a small gypsy wagon that can be rented and we have places for tents. Guests can use the compost toilet and the outdoor shower (with hot water). Kids of all ages are also welcome!
It is nice to stay here on beautiful spring and summer days. You can walk, cycle and visit beautiful villages here. We are close to Pompadour (the historic horse town of France) and many other nice cities. You are free to roam our yard and you can also help on the farm. Enough to do!
There are chickens (fresh eggs!), a cat, a dog and sheep on our property. A nice addition for an animal lover. Do you have less with animals? Then we can find a place where the animals don't come near.
For a small fee you can extend your stay with nice extras. Such as wood for a campfire (provided this is permitted by the fire safety guidelines at that time), a reel (electricity) near the tent. Fresh drinking water is always available for free and you can use our (warm) outdoor shower for free.
We always like to get to know our campers, which is why we offer the possibility to eat with us for a fee of 12.50 euros per person. Don't feel obligated! If you are interested in this, please indicate this in advance, including your allergies and whether you are vegetarian/vegan.
If you bring small children, they can use the play facilities in the private part of our garden in consultation.

We are Christiaan and Aranea and have been living on this former goat farm since 2022. We are in the process of transforming this place into an ecological and biodiverse paradise (we also record this on Youtube, search 'araneafloor' and you will find our videos). Especially in the spring and (late) summer months, living here feels like a holiday every day. And we would like to share that with more people!
We are enterprising and active people. Likes to walk, are always busy in and around the house and enjoy spending time outside by a campfire. In the summer, hardly a day goes by that we take a dip in the stream on our property or go to a swimming lake.
We have a little beast at home. A dog, a cat, chickens, nine sheep and hopefully some cows, donkeys and pigs in the near future. But, everything in its time!

We had a very pleasant stay with Christiaan, Areana and Hugo. We slept wonderfully in their cozy garden. On the other side of the house we could swim in the Amstel. A ladder makes it easier to dive. And in the evening we were allowed to sit down at the evening table with the evening sun. They had cooked mekker with delicious and spectacular dessert.
How was the contact with the host?
Everything was super clear. Areana had a guest book where everything is clearly noted. It's all very hot. The dog Yuka walks everywhere in between, the sandbox and toys were available for our daughter… We were received as if we were at home.

To enjoy

Perfect! Quick communication and welcoming host! We had a great experience! The food was nice and we really enjoyed the night at the fire! The house and campspace were lovely also. And finally I can really recommend the canoe trip! Canoe trip and Theetuin [Heerlijk]! And if you are going to the coop anyway, check out the Nicolaashof ;)

This Campspace is indeed a cozy wild camping spot with lots of nice cozy corners, a great compost toilet and a lovely place for a campfire! The location on the Amstel is very nice for swimming and chilling on the waterfront. If you want to get a nice cup of coffee, rent the canoe and paddle 1.5 km to the Tea Garden, really enjoy! The host and wife are nice and cozy to have a delicious meal with and the food is very tasty. In short, if you want to get away from it all and get to know new people, this is the right place.
