Treehouse
As a camper you are very welcome to enjoy peace and space in a tree house (max. 4 people can spend the night here with their own sleeping mat and sleeping bag). There is a toilet and small sink downstairs and an outdoor shower with hot water. In addition, there is a Weber BBQ available for free (bring your own charcoal), a small fridge, electricity and WiFi. If desired, you can use the heated outdoor swimming pool or enjoy the spacious jacuzzi (€20/3 hours). There is also a fire bowl for roasting marshmallows, for example (€5/evening - for wood consumption).
You don't always have the garden exclusively, we also like to stay there! In the pool house you can use the sink, electricity, coffee/tea and the dining table when it rains. At other times we wish to use the pool house itself.
There is plenty to do in the area: you are within walking distance of 2 parks and Forts V and VI (of the Fortress Belt of Antwerp). The bicycle junction 51 departs a few meters from the front door and public transport, a market, playgrounds, petting zoo and shops are also within walking or cycling distance.
PS: it is best to provide a mosquito machine (there is 1 socket in the tree house) or anti-mosquito spray.

We enjoyed our stay with Tina. The tree house is large and comfortable and we could use all the facilities in the pool house and jacuzzi. What we did do was set up the inner tent of our tent the second night because of the mosquitoes. This could easily be done in the space of the tree house. Maybe it's an idea to hang a mosquito net there. Tina and Steven were very welcoming and friendly.

It was a wonderful experience! We were warmly welcomed and given a good tour. It looked very neat and tidy. The bread was freshly baked and was delicious.
We slept in the tree house with 4 people with a double mattress. The weather was great so we were also able to use the heated pool and jacuzzi. Definitely worth 5 stars!

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Tina who showed us around the outdoor facilities.
Everything has a place and is neatly and well looked after, although it is actually their private garden, they gave us the warm feeling and freedom to truly enjoy their space, for this, we are very thankful.
We slept in the treehouse, it might be helpful to know, the treehouse sheltered (sleeping) area is about 2.6 x 2.6 meters, we had place for 3 matrasses,( put together, we had place for 4) + the treehouse has a nice size outdoor terrace with some chairs and tables, and if it’s not rainy or windy is very pleasant and relaxing to use.
The location is in the city yet as it is surrounded with green from all sides you actually feel like in the countryside.
In general, the intelligent hosts were professionally friendly and accommodating and our kids had a fantastic time during our stay, and of course the warm and clean pool/Jacuzzi make it this extra special!
Would surely recommend and would come again.
How was the contact with the host?
Excellent! short, to the point & always with a smile
Tips for new guests?
1) Would recommend bringing some good mosquito repellent for the night.
2) If visiting the small local Tuesday morning market, make sure to bring the hosts some fresh moelleux waffles, its is a treat they really like and deserve!

We had terrible weather but the tree house saved our holiday. High and dry, out of the wind it was still fun to camp. Fortunately, we could use the pool house in the evening to shelter. In good weather you have a nice terrace with BBQ.
Showering outdoors, on the other hand, was not an option. Too cold, wind and rain.
How was the contact with the host?
Friendly, helpful host. Both in advance and on site.
Tips for new guests?
The stairs to the tree house are steep. You have to take that into account.

What a top location to spend the night near Antwerp. Great to take a dip in the water after a hot day in the city.

Contact went smoothly. Very nice and hospitable people!
Tips for new guests?
Definitely recommended to book the pool and/or hot tub!
Take bread toppings with you if you have ordered breakfast bread.
Used various anti-mosquito gear and did not see a mosquito!

It was super nice to spend the night in the tree house. We were lucky with the warm weather so we could swim to our heart's content.
How was the contact with the host?
This was very good. Tina responded quickly and was super friendly.
Another tip for the delicious bread: offer a can of coffee (tg payment). It doesn't bother me, but my husband is a real coffee drinker and there is no possibility to make coffee himself..
Mr for the rest it was great!
Tips for new guests?
Maybe bring an extra blanket for a cold night. We didn't take this with us, but it did cool down seriously in the tree house.
Also keep in mind that the shower is outside (without a screen) and that the neighbors can see you. Tina and her family cannot see you because it is a shower behind the pool house.

The garden, the swimming pool, the pool house, the jacuzzi and the tree house, this complete picture is really beautiful. Everything is as good as new, very well cared for and beautiful. The tree house is great to spend the night in. Adventurous but still a bit glamping. With the mood lights, the tree house has something idyllic. Mosquito repellent has not helped us to keep the mosquitoes at a distance, so you have to take into account that the tree house has holes and cracks. You don't have to be afraid of rain, we had a few rain showers and we have not had any problems with wet.
How was the contact with the host?
The contact with Tina was very good. She always answers quite quickly. Tina is very smooth and friendly.

Mosquito repellent has not helped us to keep the mosquitoes at a distance, so you have to take into account that the tree house has holes and cracks. You don't have to be afraid of rain, we had a few rain showers and we have not had any problems with wet. I also find Tina, the host, very open-minded. It's great that she opens up her garden, the pool, the pool house, the jacuzzi and the tree house to others. Since Tina has kids herself, she is also very child-friendly and if you have kids, they can even play with her kids.

Lovely place with friendly people! Piece of heaven or earth despite all the rain… Recommended! The only downside: Only the tree house contains crevices where mosquitoes find their way so easily… so provide a four-poster bed or mosquito repellent!

Hey Delphine, indeed, unfortunately there are a lot of mosquitoes this year 😞. I'm thinking of putting in a floor mat so they can't come in at night. Thank you for your nice presence! Greetings Tina
