Tent
My campsite is currently open. Sheltered campsite, surrounded by trees and shrubs, near top of a hill, so ideal in wet weather. Quiet friendly household. Pleasant garden, full of luxuriant greenery and fruit trees in Binstead Ryde on the Isle of Wight. There is room for one tent only. Wifi internet available you are welcome to charge your mobiles, cameras etc.,Barbecues and fires are not allowed; you can use the kitchen (includes cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, sandwich maker and TV with freeview), bath/showeroom, lavatories and compost heap. Laundry facilities are available - washing machine, iron, ironing board and clothes lines with pegs. The main house including most of these facilities is closed between 10PM and 6AM.The house is a semi detached dorma bungalow in a quiet close, so I would appreciate it if noise was kept to a minimum. There is roadside parking available, but not off road parking.
The back garden over looks open countryside; there is an array of footpaths close by, radiating out in all directions, taking you into the nearby hills in one direction, and down to Ryde town centre in the other. There is a nearby bus service two minutes from the house during daytime; buses running later in the day 10 minutes away and also a steam railway line about three miles walk from the house. The position is excellent for both walking and cycling and very close to Brickfields riding stables, sheep and cows graze in the fields at the bottom of my garden.
