Untouched wilderness, only the sound of an owl at night and splashing from your bed in a few steps into the cool river. Our finca consists of a large field and 40 hectares of wild mountainous forest. In between, the crystal clear river Manol meanders with its beautiful swimming spots (note, the Manol can be dry!).
Enjoy to really get away from it all. Close to a cozy village, but once here (via a 3 km gravel road) completely in the wilderness. There is no telephone and internet coverage on the camping site, but only a 2-minute walk higher up the mountain.
There is a yurt, spacious rental tents (both including bed linen and towels) and camping spots for your own tent or camper van! There is also simple but effective sanitary facilities: 3 eco toilets and 3 showers, 2 of which are warm. The yurt has its own kitchen. For the others there is a spacious, covered outdoor kitchen where you can cook (cooking is not allowed at your pitch due to the risk of fire).
The finca is largely off-grid and the water from the shower and kitchen flows directly back onto the land and the planted fruit and nut trees. We therefore ask to use only natural soaps and toiletries.
You can dine with us. With vegetables from our vegetable garden. Or do a workshop wild picking, sourdough bread or fermentation! We also have 'the School of Nature' (.org) here
We are located in the foothills of the Pyrenees. From here you walk straight into the wilderness of the Pyrenees. There are plenty of hiking opportunities, in the wilderness, along abandoned ruins, high mountain peaks, mountain rivers or along the old villages. In addition, there are several mountain bike trails in all directions from our location. The nearest village is Lladó, which can be reached via an hour walk, 20min cycle (steep mountain road) or 15min drive. The village has a restaurant, cafeteria & bar, several playgrounds, outdoor swimming pool and a small supermarket. The High Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea are both an hour's drive away. Of course we can recommend the most beautiful beaches and mountain walks. You are also in the right place in this area for a visit to a picturesque village or rock climbing.
Nature lovers, those interested in vegetable garden, food forest, construction of traditional ruins, families, couples, adventurers, hikers, please go your own way and / or inspiring conversations with us.

We are a young family living off-grid in Catalonia. We are also the founders of `the School of Nature' (.org), with which we provide programs for people who want to live from a connection with themselves and nature. We have a vegetable garden, a newly planted food forest, and we rebuild old ruins with wood and stones from the land.

It is a beautiful piece of earth with wonderful people who I admire very much for their courage to live there.
The road to them is challenging but was patched up while we were there. 🙏 The compost toilets and showers are very well done and there is a well equipped outdoor kitchen with fridge and electricity/light 😊 Luxury in the wild!
