Directly in the forest entrance in a quiet area and 400 meters from Chevremont-Kerkrade station, you are welcome at Leon and Iris to come and camp in the garden. There are plenty of places for tents on the edge of the forest and wonderfully quiet. All wheels are in the front and spaced apart.
All facilities as on a regular campsite are available and more...
Our fart shack has a toilet and toilet paper. The shower with shampoo is ready, bring your own towels. With the hair dryer and mirror you can look good again.
In the kitchen there are 2 large deep sinks for washing dishes and brushing your teeth. There is power for everyone. If you only want to charge a phone, put your mobile in the compartment and there are steam contacts and USB ports below.
The kettle, senseo and coffee machine are ready. In the display cabinet you will find plates, cups, cutlery, coffee, coffee filters, senseo pads and more... If something is missing and you need something, we will arrange for it to be there.
At the 1-burner gas stove are all kinds of pans, pepper, salt and other spices and the lighter.
There are 2 old metal picnic tables from the army, nice and sturdy and you can rest, eat or wait with a whole group at the same time until your partner has finished the shower while you make a cup of coffee.
We separate waste into paper, glass, green, plastic + cans + drinking cartons and the rest. We keep deposit cans and bottles separately.
Dogs are welcome, sweet or difficult dogs it doesn't matter. As long as the dog walks on a leash and you can stretch a line yourself from A to B at your tent or camper. If it is an easy dog, it can run loose as long as it stays with you. If there are no other camping guests, he can run around on 3000 m2 of land and possibly play with our Giant Swiss Sennen, Västgötaspets or Dwarf Dachshund, we all have ladies. Our dogs can't just walk into the garden, but are usually on Leon's business.
The location is in the route of the Dutch mountain trail. For cyclists and hikers with a tent, we can serve breakfast in a breakfast box in the morning, there is extra breakfast so you can make bread for the road. There are sandwich bags in the kitchen to take everything with you. You can also eat with the hot pot or Iris will prepare a savory pie with salad and apple pie with vanilla ice cream for you.
We have an old-timer Biod caravan from 1970. This is regularly occupied, you can discuss this via 't Lavenhofje.
Once you have reserved, you can come all day. If you are standing in front of the gate and we are not at home, call Iris and she will explain everything, because your place has been specially reserved. We prefer that you are inside 1 hour before dark so that you can find your way with light. Until 8 o'clock it is quiet and someone can still sleep.
Car parking is in the front outside the fence in the front garden in the parking circle on the grass, where a maximum of 10 cars can be parked.
