Boizenburg is 8 km away with shops and restaurants. You can shop on a farm within walking distance. There are many quiet cycle paths, and the Elbe dyke near Mahnkenwerder is only a few kilometers away. Swimming is possible in the Sude directly opposite or in a bathing lake 2.5 km away. A converted chicken coop with two beds can be booked. There are extra parking spaces for accompanying vehicles. Use of the washing machine is available for an additional charge. Bicycles for adults and children can be rented.

I bought the property, which is a listed building, in 2004 and renovated it until 2013. There are many opportunities for recreation: tours, swimming, jogging on sandy paths, etc. etc. My property is detached and is located in the former restricted area, which is very sparsely populated. The area is part of the Green Belt, which was declared a nature reserve along the former border with the former GDR. My house is a listed building.
