Gemma and Hans run a yurt in Hoogmade because they would like to share a part of their property with other people. We have visited this accommodation in winter and stayed for two nights.
The yurt is very tastefully decorated, very warm and cozy. There is a kitchen with refrigerator, a sitting area, dining table and a wonderfully adjustable bed. Everything is coordinated in terms of color and atmosphere. In the fridge were some delicacies from the region. We could use it or buy it at reasonable prices if you wanted to take it home. We were allowed to use coffee, tea and various types of sandwich fillings anyway. You can relax in the yurt; especially in the winter season.
Outside the yurt is a permanent BBQ, which we used for two evenings. Despite some wind and in the dark, that went fine. In the neighborhood you can enjoy hiking, there are even routes through the pasture.
The hostess Gemma is very hospitable; that the guests are happy is her priority. We have really lacked nothing.
We were enthusiastically welcomed and Gemma had arranged something nice to say goodbye. All in all one of the best and nicest Campspace locations we have been to.

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Gemma who showed us around the yurt and the sanitary facilities (a 5-step walk next to the yurt). Everything looks spick and span and everything has been thought of: there are games available, the kitchen and the electric stove work fantastic and there are delicious local products for use in the yurt but also to take home (for a small fee). payment). We enjoyed the delicious mustard and jam. We slept there one night in the autumn / winter, which made the yurt extra cozy, but it also seems wonderful in the summer. All in all, enjoyed our stay!

We would like it to be quiet at 11 pm. Dogs are very welcome. Dogs can just walk loose in the orchard.
