We had a wonderful, peaceful stay in the (private) orchard. The garden was beautiful and Caroline was very welcoming. Nice and clean sanitary facilities. If I have to think of one downside, it is the highway that can be heard, but with earplugs or blending into the environment you don't notice that ;)

The path to the garden is very narrow.
My car was widht 2.2m(mirror to mirror) and 5m length with a tent trailer of only 3m and I barely was able to enter the garden.
Dont book this campspace if you have a wider or longer vehicle which needs to enter the garden. (Despite you love scratches from the hedge in your vehicle ) ;-)
Parking is also available in front of the house.
Toilet/bath is inside the house and you have to enter the hosts private area. Pls show respect.

We could use well maintained sanitary facilities. Waking up by the birds in the spacious green garden surrounded by fields and very child friendly for my 2yo son. We were able to hike beautifully in the area and it is an ideal starting point for day trips in West Flanders. Thanks for the great vacation! Highly recommended.

We cycled there and back to Bruges, which is best to do. We made an extra loop and had a trip of about 77kl. Also towards Ostend there is a quiet cycle path that you can follow. This departs from Torhout.
