About this campspace

Welcome to our olive grove.
A large garden in the heart of nature, with panoramic views of the mountains of the Haute Pays Niçois, in the Vésubie valley.
Voted best starry sky in France.
We're located at Lieudit Figaret GR510, in the neighboring village of Utelle.

Quiet location on the outskirts of a hamlet.
You can hear a variety of birds, mouflons and others in our olive grove overlooking the mountains.
Rich and varied vegetation. Spring and tap water on site. We have a henhouse with a rooster that livens up the grounds, but we promise no 4 a.m. alarm clocks!!!^^

The activities
We live close to the Parc du Mercantour, which makes us a favorite spot for nature lovers: hiking, climbing, canyoning and via ferata. The resort of La Colmiane boasts Europe's longest zip line, a summer toboggan run and a number of horse-riding centers. A thermal center with spa. The Vesubia park with its indoor pool and climbing walls. All this less than 30 minutes from our home, just 1 hour from Nice by car to see the sea.

Mountain biking, hiking, canyoning, climbing, via ferrata, kayaking, motorbiking...

Other things
Martin is an in-home catering chef, and depending on availability, he can offer you meals or breakfast (book in advance). Emily (myself) is a spa and wellness technician, and can offer you massages in nature for greater relaxation after a busy day discovering our region.

The site faces south, but numerous trees provide shade.
We're on a slope, on terraces supported by low dry-stone walls. So be careful, it's a bit of a climb, but we live here all year round with our young children, so don't worry ;) !
The place is easy to get to, just 45 minutes from Nice.
You can park on the roadside at the foot of the house, or in the village slightly below in parking spaces.
Tent sizes on request.

Accessible amenities (showers, toilets, washing machine). An independent bathroom is available.

Microwave, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, crockery and basic food items available. BBQ on request.
Electricity is available on our side of the house.
Internet eventually but we get 4g and you're not here for that ;)
