About this campspace

We are offering a small grassed camping area within the Wet Tropics rainforest. Close to the shop, pub and many attractions. The campsite is exclusive with only one group at a time.

The activities
The campsite is purely a base, however it is very comfortable and picturesque. There are many sites and activities to experience in the surrounding area such as hiking, swimming, mountain biking, markets, dining and exploring. We would be happy to share our knowledge and experience with you.

The site is flat and suitable for tents, vans, motorhomes and medium to large caravans and RV's. It is under the rainforest canopy so is out of the direct sun and cool in the heat of the tropics. The site is easy to access from a sealed road.

The sanitary facilities
At present we have set up NO toilet facilities so toilet self sufficiency or comfort with a bush toilet is a bonus. Essentially we are supplying a site without any other facilities. Self sufficiency is the key, but it's a great spot. Future plans for facilities are in the pipeline.

The amenities
While we can't supply access to toilet facilities we can provide electricity at a small extra cost. No internet or kitchen facilities currently available.

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.

Rules

The area is quiet and peaceful and we would love to keep it that way. Other than that, access is at your leisure and the length of your stay is negotiable. Children and pets welcome (we have 2 kids and a friendly dog).
