About this campspace

Hamburg, Kiel, Elbe, North Sea or Elmshorn or Itzehoe?
In 45-60 minutes by public transport in Hamburg or Kiel, bus stop 5 minutes on foot. Or with the camper in 10 minutes to the Elbe, 45 minutes to the North Sea, 75 minutes to the Baltic Sea ? Caravans only possible by arrangement and only on the driveway, stopover.

There's nothing but peace and quiet here, with cows, windmills and a few frogs in front of, next to and behind you, which can be annoying in summer, but it calms me down. The nearest larger town is Horst Holstein, 5 kilometers away, where all shopping facilities are available. In Elmshorn 10 km, Glückstadt 15 km or Itzehoe 20 km or Hamburg 35 km there is a little more to see.

The activities
Here you can read a good book and do nothing, there is a nice hiking trail with the dog. Glückstadt/Elbe are worth a trip. Kollmar or Bielenberg or both by bike on the Elbe, perfect. If the weather is not quite so good, all the better. Hamburg 45 min, Kiel 60 min, biggest sandpit Sankt Peter Ording 90 min, or Friedrichskoog to watch seals, kite or wing foiling to practice in the Meldorf Speicherkoog (there are cheap pitches on site). Or directly in Bielenberg on the Elbe.

Other things
This is just for fun for us, we are on the road a lot ourselves, work or motorhome, we want to have nice guests and no whiners. There's not much here except peace and quiet and what we can and want to give.

At the back in our garden/meadow if it is too wet close to the house, or on the large driveway. Shade, sun, everything is possible. Motorhome up to 7 meters no problem, if it is longer, there would also be space on the driveway, in the garden then after coordination, is a bit narrow at the driveway.

The sanitary facilities
Fresh water is possible to fill up, otherwise no possibilities.
Emptying gray water not possible, toilet by arrangement.

The amenities
Electricity is to be obtained from the house/carport. Your camper should already be equipped, we have more or less only one pitch.
We are happy to receive a donation for electricity in summer, €4 per day in the low season.

There is also a ditch on two sides. 50 meters from the house, 20 to 50 cm deep. Registration by arrangement, access always possible. No youth groups welcome.
