About this campspace

Land overlooking the railway line where you can watch the trains go by (2 TER per day). I offer 3 pitches on a plot of land adjoining the former Sigournais railway station (now a gite).

You can park your "locomotive" and enjoy the calm of the countryside and the company of dwarf goats. You can also watch the sun set over Lac de Rochereau, 600 m away.
It's an authentic place where you can feel the railway past. It's up to you to imagine what the railroads were like in the past.

Puy du fou 35 minutes away.
Fishing, lake 600 m away.
Beach and Vendée coast 1h00 away.
Sigournais 2 km away, visit the feudal castle in summer.
Chantonnay 10 minutes away, hypermarket and all shops.

Other things
The town of Chantonnay is 10 minutes away, with 3 service areas for oil changes.

Access to the pitches is facilitated by a junction opposite the site entrance. The entrance is easy to reverse. The plot is gravelled and passable. Pitches are approximately 15 m2. A 200 m2 plot with shrubs and lawn is shared by the 3 pitches.
