About this campspace

We welcome you in our garden near the sea (15 kms).
From June onwards, you can enjoy our 28-degree heated swimming pool for as long as you like.
Our region offers a wide range of activities by the sea, in the Charente countryside, and in historic towns like La Rochelle and Rochefort.
We're close to La Vélodyssée, the French section of the Atlantic Coast Route - EuroVelo 1, a cycle route that crosses Brittany and runs along the Atlantic to the Basque coast on a wild and invigorating course. You can take a break with your bikes, which will be stored in our garage.

Quiet, relaxing 2,500 m2 wooded garden with a gravelled courtyard for your vehicles. No noise, as we are in a very quiet area known as Cugné.
As we are non-smokers, we ask you to respect the rules and not to throw cigarette butts on the ground.

The activities
From June to the end of September (weather permitting) you'll have access to the 5 m x 10 m heated swimming pool, the pétanque and shuffleboard court, and summer games.

discover, take and/or give advice. So that those who enjoy this

A large electric gate opens onto a gravelled courtyard.there are several electric sockets for camper vans and caravans.easy access in front of the house. Tents on the grass, close to the swimming pool.
Separate sanitary facilities with shower, toilet and washbasin for our homecampers.

The sanitary facilities
There is a separate modern bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. You will manage the cleanliness of this so as to leave it clean for all subsequent guests. Please bring your own toilet paper and personal shower products, as there is liquid soap at the sink and a hand towel.
We also have an outdoor chemical toilet in a Quechua tent and a 10-liter solar shower by the pool, with outdoor cold-water taps.
A small camping tent in case of equipment failure.

The amenities
The water is drawn from a borehole and supplies the house, so we strongly advise against drinking it. You can plug in your electrical appliances... You can use the sheltered summer kitchen with various cooking utensils, crockery, pots and pans, table and chairs with sofa. Basic ingredients, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee and tea bags. Top fridge. And you ask me for everything you'll need.

Tent ready
3-PLACE CAMPING TENT - with a two-person inflatable mattress in case of equipment failure. It's not permanently set up, just to tide you over if need be .free of charge.
In general, we'll be happy to lend you any equipment you may be lacking (crockery, cooking utensils, camping equipment, towels, etc.).

As a couple, we live 18 km from La Rochelle. In the countryside but with all amenities nearby. In a large garden with trees and flowers with an in-ground swimming pool, a bowling alley or outdoor summer games.
We will welcome you as at home, with a brand new bathroom with shower, toilet and sink in the house's independent garage.
There is an outdoor solar shower and outdoor chemical toilets for the swimming pool as well as a large summer kitchen area, well sheltered, and fridge if necessary.

We are part of an association L'Embellie which maintains our environment, installs new hedges and rehabilitates old hiking trails in the village.

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.

Rules

Children must be supervised by their parents, the pool will be surrounded by nets but never leave a child alone without an adult.
Depending on your arrival times, please let me know the day before so that I can be available to receive you.
I accept calm animals under certain conditions; non-destructive and non-runaway as there is an unfenced part of the garden.
Once your reservation has been confirmed, please call us for a first contact and we'll give you further details.
