About this campspace

We invite you to immerse yourself in the heart of nature, in a collective living space where several farming families, craftsmen and artists are ready to welcome you in the "camping" area equipped with solar shower, dry toilets and possible connection to electricity.

We propose a stay in the heart of nature, where you can set off on foot and enjoy the many hikes in the surrounding area. Many activities are possible in the surrounding area. The farm animals on the estate are an integral part of the place. There's not a sound in the vicinity (except when we're making it, or our animals!) In the evening, the sky is full of stars, as they make a spectacle of themselves without any visual pollution!

The activities
On site, you can meet the locals, all of whom are highly skilled in crafts, agriculture and more. The farm animals are visible and very friendly! You can visit the horses, sheep, goats, donkeys, etc... For the little ones, a donkey ride (very small) is possible, subject to availability of hosts and prior reservation (10 euros per ride).
Numerous walks are possible around the site, but with a little more walking you can reach the villages of Rennes-le-château, Rennes-les-bains (with its river), Bézu, Granès, Bugarach...

Events are scheduled throughout the summer, including circus, music and more, so if you're looking for absolute peace and quiet this summer, don't hesitate to ask us about the programme!

Other things
Pets are welcome, but dogs must be kept on a leash. Our chickens and goats are often on the loose, and the risks are too great for us...

The estate covers a total of 57 hectares. A "camping area" has been created, with the possibility of setting up in the shade in the morning or afternoon. Although it's easy to create your own private space, there are no "pitches". It is possible to access the site with vehicles of up to 30 tons! Even if the dirt road has a few holes, it's still passable!

The sanitary facilities
In our camping area, there's access to water, heated solar showers with wooden cabins, and dry toilets. Although a local resident will be on site every day, we ask everyone to help maintain the dry toilets, especially when it comes to emptying them.

The amenities
We are "off the grid", but we can connect the wifi if necessary or lend a computer. A landline telephone is also available in the residents' home... We have a sheltered outdoor kitchen with fridge, gas stove and sink. We ask everyone to respect this space and leave it spotless after your visit. For the moment, it's easier to be self-sufficient in the kitchen. Electricity is available free of charge, but a vehicle can be plugged in for a supplement of 2 euros.
