Dear camper friends,
As long-term residents abroad and motorhome owners, we are often on the road and not always on site. Therefore, good communication by phone, WhatsApp or Telegram is important during our absence so that everything runs smoothly.
Especially in winter, when it is wet and damp, the grass areas are only passable to a limited extent. In order to protect nature and avoid getting stuck, we only offer parking spaces with grass pavers from October to April. These are also located away from the main road and in the middle of nature.
No matter what time of year, we will always find a nice spot for you.

In the middle of nature, we offer you an idyllic place on our rural estate. Our pitches are right next to the horse pastures and offer you a great view over fields and meadows. There is also a small pond where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
The pitch is located approx. 1 km outside of Pölitz (near Bad Oldesloe, Stormarn), between Hamburg and Lübeck on the A1. The surrounding area is characterized by small lakes, pastures and forests. Whether horses, cows, sheep or ducks - anyone who loves animals and nature will feel at home in our area. The area is ideal for short and long bike tours. The nearest shopping facilities are in Bad Oldesloe, approx. 10 minutes away by car. Bad Oldesloe is also easily accessible by bike via country lanes.
Our pitches are suitable for a stopover on the way to the north (or on the way back). We are not far from the A1 highway, so we are practically right on the route. But it's also a wonderful place for a short break in the countryside. The nearest excursion destinations are Lübeck (approx. 30 minutes by car) with its historic old town and the Holsten Gate, Travemünde and Timmendorf with their beautiful beach promenade and great beaches (approx. 35 minutes by car), Bad Segeberg (Karl May Festival), Mölln - the town of Till Eulenspiegel - or the cosmopolitan city of Hamburg (approx. 30 minutes by car). Tip: Exploring Hamburg by bike in fine weather is much more fun. It's about 20 minutes by bike to Bad Oldesloe station, from where a regional train runs to Hamburg every 30 minutes.
There are three pitches available on our property. One pitch has electricity, while we can improvise a solution for the others if you urgently need electricity. We also offer water from our own 100-meter-deep well and a solar shower. A fire bowl is also available for cozy evenings around the campfire. Our pitches are suitable for motorhomes, campervans and caravans. Please only come with your caravan if you can ensure that no waste water is discharged into the ground. You are also welcome to come with a tent or use a combination of tent and vehicle.
To further enhance the ambience and ensure safe access, we are planning to install stylish lanterns along the paths and practical power sockets for the convenience of our visitors. Hey there, I'm Torsten Stern, born in 1966 and hailing from Germany. For the past 15 years, I've been living the expat life, first in Switzerland and then for the last decade in the bustling city of Bangkok, Thailand. Despite my global adventures, I'm deeply connected to both Europe and Asia, regularly hopping between the two continents for work and leisure.
With an MBA under my belt, I've made a career out of helping entrepreneurs expand their businesses beyond the EU borders. Working remotely allows me the flexibility to embrace my other passions, especially my love for the great outdoors.
When I'm not crunching numbers or strategizing, you'll often find me indulging in my hobbies. I'm an avid cyclist, swimmer, sailor, and I'm always up for a DIY challenge. Specifically, my DIY projects are mainly related to my mobile home, especially electronics, solar systems, and Lifepo batteries. If someone needs information about these topics, I'm more than willing to lend a hand.
But it's my passion for mobile home travel that truly fuels my soul. There's something liberating about hitting the open road and discovering hidden gems along the way.
Inspired by my own adventures, I've decided to share my piece of paradise with fellow travelers. Tucked away in the quaint town of Pölitz, my campsite offers a serene escape amidst nature's beauty. While the pitches may not be paved, they offer a rustic charm that adds to the authentic camping experience.
During the warmer months, I welcome campers to pitch their tents or park their mobile homes and soak in the tranquility of the surroundings. And even when the weather turns, I've got you covered with pitches featuring grass pavers for those rainy days.

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
Rules
Rules for our private parking space:
We are all on first-name terms.
Night rest must be observed from 22:00 to 08:00.
Cleanliness: Keep the pitch and the surrounding area clean. Waste disposal is included in the price of the VIP pitch, for other bookings waste can be disposed of for a fee. Please ask us about this.
Fire: Open fires are only permitted at the designated fire pits (fire bowl)
Dogs: Dogs must be kept on a lead. Please remove dog excrement immediately.
Vehicles: Keep to walking speed on the entire site.
Respect: Respect the privacy and peace of other campers, residents and horse owners
No party scene, our place is suitable for rest, relaxation and recreation.
We have no sanitary facilities: Please only do your business in your own camper and take everything with you and never shit in the kink!
We reserve the right to ban you from the site immediately if you break the rules. This harsh measure has unfortunately become necessary because there have been several campers who have completely disregarded the rules.
