Salinas Grandes beach is located 25km from Leon.
It is a less frequented beach compared to it's sister beach Las Penitas.
Because it is less frequented you feel as if you have the beach all to yourself.
Both beaches are separated by the nature reserve called Isla Juan Venado.
The beach of Salinas Grandes has great waves making it ideal for surfing and boogie boarding.
The beach is also joined by the estuary making it ideal for kayaking, stand up paddle board (SUP), fishing and swimming.
Salinas Grandes has the best mangroves of the reserve !
The activities
Primarily it is a great place to relax.
You can enjoy swimming, kayaking, boogie boarding, surfing, SUPing or just sitting in the dip pool.

We are offering the land of Salinas Grandes Day Beach Resort for your gamping needs.
It is located in Salinas Grandes, Leon, Nicaragua.
You will travel on a dirt road 14km to get to us.
Along the way you will see the salt flats of Salinas Grandes.
We are a safe location which will enable you to enjoy the beach and the estuary.
We rent out the kayaks, SUP's, boogie boards, surf boards and pool noodles.
During your stay you will have access to electricity, shower, toilets, BBQ, washer (extra cost) and an amazing dip pool where you can enjoy the view and beautiful sunsets.
Just a few feet away you can enjoy local some food at a very comfortable price.

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
