Tent
A site dedicated exclusively to welcoming hikers and bikers.
We offer a small camping site in our modest garden to hikers and bikers.
We're also regular users of the HomeCamper platform on our bike tours across France.
Seduced by the concept, we now offer cyclocampers the possibility of a stopover in Le Havre, where all camping facilities have disappeared.
We'd like to emphasize the very limited space available for pitching a tent.
This will suit tents with 2 or 3 places for trekking, in order to have a flat space.
So this is a stop-gap option for a short stopover in Le Havre. We're just 5 minutes from the Eurovelo 4 route.
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005, Le Havre boasts distinctive architecture and a seafront offering a wide range of water sports.
The city is spread over 2 geographical areas: Ville Basse (Lower Town), the city center with its small shops, restaurants, bars, beach and port, and Ville Haute (Upper Town), a residential area with small local shops and large shopping malls.
We are located in the upper town of Le Havre, less than 5 minutes from the cycle path leading along the coast to Etretat, FECAMP, DIEPPE... Euro vélo 4 itinerary.
The activities
Activities are mainly focused on tourism to visit the city, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005.
Other things
We open our site during a limited period of the year, mainly March, April, May, June and I September, out of school period being ourselves on these periods on the roads by bike.
It is not possible to use the kitchen. However, we can help you out with a small camping gas.
We are non-smokers, but are flexible if you smoke outside, taking the usual precautions to dispose of cigarette butts.

Senior sportsman passionate about cycling trips. Enjoys discovering regions of France, human discovery and unusual landscapes.
I'm looking for simple and quiet accommodation but not necessarily isolated from everything. Meeting other hikers, campers and hosts are part of the adventure.
I travel across France on a cycling tour over several weeks each year in June and September. In July and August, my wife accompanies me by bike.
Independent in terms of sleeping and cooking but I also enjoy from time to time the meals prepared by the hosts when they offer it. I have a small tent and I travel by bike. I stop depending on the landscapes (and my fatigue) every evening for one night.
A small organizational constraint for me is to have a quick response during the day if possible because I reserve the evening before at the earliest depending on the distance of + or - 100 km per day.
