We are a small hobby farm located on 2 acres. Behind us you have an unique view. 25 miles of wheat fields, canyons and wild prairie. The town has a small general store and restaurant. The site does have a close public bathroom. While here, you are welcome to interact with our sheep, ducks, chicks and working dogs and cats. All our residents here have a job. That might be providing food or land management, but we try to give our animals the best lives possible, one bad morning
We are a dead end street in a slow sleepy American town. The first site is right next to a seasonal creek. All locations and sites are pasture for our animals. We try to use our land as much as possible, rather than buy fodder. Because of this animal poo might be around the camp site. The main road through town is US Highway 97. At night, occasionally you can here trucks or farmer traffic. On our side of town it is just us. Our neighbor, cattle/wheat fields and wild spaces. You might have a deer walk through your campsite. Or have chickens begging for whatever you might be snacking on. Slowly we are landscaping to support our new beehive..

We have worked very hard to work with our animals, and are always willing to teach about our lifestyle. We are less that 40 minutes from 2 world class fishing rivers.

Hello, welcome to The Dirt E Moor. We are a small hobby farm. We believe in practicing permaculture and sustainability. We raise a small flock of hair sheep and dual purpose ducks and chickens. All around are wheat fields or wild spaces. Many have used our location in the past as a base camp for hunting, fishing, rockhounding, hiking, rafting and other outdoor activities. We do have a small list of home-baked goods available when on location.
