Tent
I'd like to invite you to spend a day in my little bucolic garden, surrounded by horse-drawn carriages, flowers and birds, a stone's throw from the Chemin de Compostelle, with no immediate neighbors (unoccupied houses). The garden is equipped with a large table, a number of comfortable armchairs, 2 hammocks and outdoor access to drinking water. If you have any problems, you can count on me.
The garden offers nooks and crannies in which to retreat, and trees under which to shelter from the sun. It is flowered most of the year. The route de la creuse passes in front of the house, but the garden is at the back, protected from nuisances.
The activities
Visit the surrounding villages, including Gargilesse, 6 km away, and St Benoît du Sault, which have been awarded the "Most Beautiful Villages in France" label. Also worth a visit is the remarkable 12th-century village of Cuzion, 2 km away. Here you'll find a multiservice store with groceries, fresh local produce, quality restaurants and a post office. All summer long, music festivals are in full swing, and it's practically possible to go out every night! Three nearby beaches offer swimming and fishing in the Creuse and Lac d'Eguzon. A number of walks start just outside the house, one of which takes you in just a few minutes to the magnificent medieval Château de Châteaubrun and its park of monumental contemporary sculptures.
Other things
You're in the Boischaut sud, one of the most beautiful regions of the Centre Val de Loire region, undulating with the Creuse River, and rich in biodiversity preserved by the numerous bocages (the "bouchures"), the presence of forest and the banks of the Creuse. At night, you'll come across deer and foxes. In the daytime, you'll find plenty of birdlife! Note: binoculars can be used to observe the rare raven nesting in the cliffs a stone's throw from the house.

I set down my bags 3 years ago in this little corner of the countryside, neither wild nor urbanized, but a stone's throw from the countryside and the edges of the Creuse. Every day, I still marvel at the beauty of my home and I can't believe I feel so comfortable there. I like to share these little nourishing joys with the people I welcome.
