About this campspace
Enclosed plot in the heart of nature on the banks of the Loire, just a few kilometers from Orléans.
Ideal as a stopover on the Loire cycle route, or if you want to recharge your batteries in the peace and quiet.
You can pitch your tent on a 4500 m² plot in the company of my chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs, far from road traffic but lulled by the sounds of nature: frogs, birds, crickets, ... and my chicks.
Your pets are welcome, as long as they don't want to eat mine.
The activities
The site has direct access to the Loire cycle route. This makes it ideal accommodation for cyclists.
It's also possible to go canoeing on the Loire from Chécy, and in summer you can take a boat trip on the canal.
On summer Fridays and Saturdays, there's an evening guinguette with live music and food-truck just a few meters from the house.
Chécy also boasts a municipal swimming pool with waterslide and wellness area.
Just a few kilometers away, you'll find a golf course, a horse-riding center and the city of Orléans with its museums, restaurants, bars, clubs...
You'll be just a few minutes' walk from the town center (bakery, grocery store, tobacconist, fast-food outlets, etc.) and 5 minutes' drive from a shopping mall.
There's also an on-demand bus stop right down the street.

Optional extras to be paid for on site:
* Possibility of using the washing machine and tumble dryer in my presence: supplement to be paid on site of 4€/cycle.
* Possibility of renting my bikes if required (from 26" to 27.5"): 10€/day/bike.

I have traveled quite a bit to the 4 corners of the Earth, or rather to the 3 corners because I have not yet explored the American continent...
I am rather shy but sociable by nature. A strange paradox that allows me to appreciate exchanges with people as much as quiet moments reading or listening to music.
I really like nature in general; which partly explains my living environment full of greenery and the animals that surround me.
We look forward to welcoming you during your little stopover on the banks of the Loire.

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
Rules
Arrival time :
- Saturday / Sunday: At your convenience
- weekdays: from 6:30 pm (please contact me if this does not suit your needs).
Once you have settled in, you will have free access to the property at any time.
I only have parking space for one car, otherwise you'll have to park on the side of the road or in a municipal parking lot a 5-minute walk away.
