About this campspace

Spend a few days on our farm and you'll come away with memories, great stories and probably a new favorite animal. We will share stories of the farm and its characters while we introduce you to our livestock. Children can also learn about life on a farm and where their food comes from by helping with the milking, gathering chicks, helping to bottle feed goat kids or picking their own vegetables in our garden.

The Lazy campsite covers over 20 acres and contains 15 spacious pitches, each of which are large enough for your tent(s) or caravan and your car and all have a free view over the wild meadows of the farm (and a firepitch for your own campfire!). It is almost like wild camping but with modern facilities.

The activities
Relax and unwind, enjoy the campsite, a cozy camp fire, a good book, family, friends, the big sky, the peace and the quiet. This is the essence of Farm & Camping Lazy. The pace of life here is slow and things just naturally take their course. When the sun shines and everything is settled, I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be.

The Lazy campsite is set in natural meadows. The meadows change over the season, with shorter grass and flowers in April and May, lush green grass and swooping house martins in June, clouds of butterflies in July and tall golden seed heads in August and September. We leave a large section of the meadows undisturbed for the local wildlife, including roe deer, red deer, mouflons and hares.

The sanitary facilities
We have modern camping facilities on-site that include: 3 flushing loos, 2 washing basins and 3 hot showers, 3 eco-toilets in wooden enclosures, 4 washing up basins, drinking water, recycling, freezer (for you to freeze your own freezer blocks), washing machine, WiFi, electric hook-ups 4/6 A and a fridge with cold drinks and fresh farm products. We aim to keep our facilities scrupulously clean at all times.
