Castellana Grotta consists of a modern area and an older core and is best known for its caves, the Castellana Caves, one of the most important speleological treasures in all of Italy.
The area is made up of sunny spaces and spaces shaded by young olive trees.

Nearby (3km) you can visit the famous Castellana Caves, and about 4km away you can find restaurants and bars in Putignano's historic center.
