About this campspace
You are welcome, in the countryside between Modena and Bologna! We will be happy to welcome you!
Ours is a private home, we are not for profit, but for sharing, the fees set therefore are the contribution to our family for the use of electricity, water, gas and the maintenance of the space.
You can stay with your tent in the shade of walnut trees, among native hedges planted, as they once were, to mark boundaries and create a cozy space. Camper vans, caravans and minivans will be able to stand on concrete pavers, with a garden beside them to relax and eat in peace.
Table and benches are available, the use of a small kitchenette with fridge and freezer, bathroom with shower and bidet, washing machine ( contribution of €2.50 per wash) sandbox and swing for the little ones, soccer goals, basketball, ping pong, bookcrossing for reading and taking/donating a book, board games, a small library for young and old, the large porch in which to find shelter, a small room for meditation, gymnastics or relaxing.
Extra weekly activities you can sign up for on site: HathaYoga, Pilates, Meditation, Capoeira, Laughter Yoga, Foot Reflexology, Massage.
We are located near the Ciclovia del Sole, which connects Verona to Bologna, easily reached, via country roads.
In the small village of Manzolino, 1.5 km from the house, there is a Conad grocery store, pharmacy, newsstand, baker, post office, tobacco shop, barbers and hairdresser, parish church, pub, bar, boy's/man's clothing store and a haberdashery/clothing/clothing/clothing store.
You can pitch your tent on the lawn, under walnut trees and among native hedges. For campers, caravans and minivans there is a dedicated space on an area with concrete self-blocking, adjacent to the garden. The typical country setting with the passing of the seasons and the work of farmers will interest children: the chickens in the chicken coop, the hares and pheasants crossing the lawn in the evening and early morning.
The activities
A small room is available for meditation, yoga or gymnastics. For birdwatchers, a half-hour walk will take you to the Manzolino Wildlife Oasis. Motor Valley, for car and motorcycle enthusiasts, is here: the nearby Pagani car museum, the Casa Ferrari museum in Modena, Maserati, Lamborghini, and Ducati! You can taste the typical tortellino in the restaurants of Castelfranco (a ten-minute drive away), or take a trip to Spilamberto, home of traditional Modena vinegar, or to Castelvetro, where Lambrusco Grasparossa is born and where you can find agriturismi where you can taste wines and typical dishes. On request and by prior arrangement you can visit a local roasting company of excellent organic coffee and you can buy wines and derivatives from local grapes from an organic farm near us. From the Castelfranco Emilia train station (a ten-minute drive from our home) you can go to Modena and Bologna. At the Saturday afternoon market in Castelfranco you can buy fruits, vegetables, baked goods, and typical organic and quality products! In Modena, Pavarotti's House Museum will let you relive the history of the famous tenor.

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
Rules
This place grows with us, with respect, care and attention to flowers, plants, what we provide: kindness to the environment!
For smokers: you must get a container in which to leave ashes and cigarettes, without scattering them on the lawn. Smoking is not allowed inside the house or outside near the house, but only at a certain distance.
Garbage will find a place in the appropriate containers.
Parents will take care to check that children do not endanger themselves by getting too close to tools and machinery used in the countryside.
Care will also be taken to respect silence as in any other living situation.
