About this campspace
Hikers, tourists, passing travelers are warmly welcomed! Pitch your tent, park your van in a protected natural area. Enjoy the peace and quiet, the greenery, go wild picking and swim in the river! Do you like healthy and delicious cuisine? I love cooking, you can order breakfasts, lunches or dinners, small snacks or picnics. Also take advantage of the many cultural and sporting activities in the surrounding area. Friends of old stones, you will be amazed!
Small, quiet farmhouse along the GR 365. The land is planted with fruit and deciduous trees and bordered by a river, the Vègre. The Vègre flows into the Sarthe, a 20-minute walk away.
Activities
Tourist visits (Solesmes Abbey, village of Asnière-sur-Vègre with the “Small Cities of Character” label, Manoir de la Cour, Dobert Castle), equestrian activities, golf, climbing, etc.
Walks on hiking trails, towpaths.
On foot you can go to Solesmes along the Vègre then the Sarthe.
Dobert Castle is a 10-minute walk away. The park, the forest and the viaduct are accessible free of charge all year round, the castle can only be visited during the summer period. Summer 2024 dates: 04/14, 05/19, 06/23, 07/28, 08/25, 09/22.
Two locks are nearby, that of Juigné-sur-Sarthe and that of Courtigné.

Arrival possible even in our absence. However, I prefer to welcome you when you arrive!
If you wish to use bicycles, please notify us when booking. So we check that they are operational for your stay.
I am passionate about cooking, a fan of lacto-fermentation and natural sourdough baking. I offer meals or picnics depending on the provisions available and your tastes. Everything is homemade, from the mustard to the yogurt to the ketchup! All ingredients are of organic origin and as local as possible (from the vegetable garden or market gardeners) and of course seasonal. Remember to order as soon as possible, thank you! My cuisine is essentially plant-based. However, if you are vegetarian or vegan, I know how to cook without any animal products.
You can buy sourdough bread (country, wholemeal, rye, spelt, corn, buckwheat, with seeds, with dried fruits... everything is possible if you notify us in advance, I would be happy to make your favorite bread, otherwise it will be the bread of the day!). And other products like craft beer, homemade lemonade...

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
Rules

You have access to the entire grounds down to the Vègre river and to the playground.
Pets are not allowed.
Smoking is not prohibited, but cigarette butts must be disposed of in the garbage can.

There are no opening hours, so you're free to come and go as you please.
