About this campspace

NO MORE BOOKINGS BETWEEN WEDNESDAY JUNE 26 AND SATURDAY JULY 20, 2024.
Secure, shaded area under cedars, located in Avignon's green belt in an agricultural environment.
Just 12 minutes from the tramway, which takes you to Avignon city center in ten minutes.
The space borders the vegetable garden. The henhouse is set apart (no rooster!).
Possibility of sampling seasonal fruit and/or vegetables from the kitchen garden.

Permanent shade near a small bamboo grove, in a quiet location.

The activities
Visits to Avignon, the cultural capital of the Côtes du Rhône, with its rich historical past, the Vaucluse, Gard and Bouches du Rhône regions, will be facilitated by the provision of documentation.
In 2024, the Festival d'Avignon, a world-class theater festival, will take place from 06/29 to 07/21 for the IN and from 07/3 to 07/21 for the OFF.

Other things
Extreme vigilance is required on the part of guests regarding the risk of fires, which are becoming increasingly frequent in the region due to the drought.

I limit parking (on flat ground) to four vehicles, so my guests can enjoy their stay in complete peace of mind. The site is about 70m from my house. So far, all non-oversized motorhomes have been able to park without difficulty.

The sanitary facilities
The pitch is equipped with a sanitary block (shower with hot water, toilet, large washbasin).

The amenities
Wifi is available.
Each pitch has a water and electricity point.
On occasion, I can lend kitchen equipment (including a barbecue, which must be used in a secure area because of the fire hazard). I can help out with basic products (salt, sugar, butter, bread...) and take shopping orders while my guests are on holiday.

Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.

No fires allowed.
Small pets allowed.
Quiet after 11pm.
Once you've settled in, you can come and go at any time of the day or night, while respecting the peace and quiet of any neighbors. A remote control for the gate can be obtained for a deposit of 30€.
Selective sorting of garbage will be encouraged by the provision of three separate garbage cans and a composter.

Attention !!! my four locations will be occupied between 06/24 and 07/14/24 (Avignon Festival) so no more locations available during this period, no need to make reservations.
A retired professor, I spent most of my professional career abroad (Nigeria, Tunisia, Pakistan, Senegal).
I returned to my native land during the summer of 2021.
Since then I have been gardening and plan to allow my visitors to benefit from part of the 8000m2 of my space located in the Green Belt of Avignon.
Very open to exchanges, I hope that welcoming visitors who are curious and respectful of their environment will provide me with new opportunities to build real friendly relationships and promote my beautiful region.
