Very professional campsite. Seems like another rank than most spaces on this website. Doesn't feel like a french campspace; mostly british and dutch folks. The size makes it a bit impersonal. The pics in the ad are different from the reality. However, everything is taken care of; great cider; good location, you can go canoeing; the restaurant was just what we needed after a day in the car.

good.
Tips for new guests?
Go with you family for a week or more; not if you want a cute campspace on your road trip.

Traveling stay in tent and car, pitch with electricity, 2 adults and our dog. The pitches are really very beautiful, very large, very clean and possibility of shade. No problem staying there with a dog.
Nice little restaurant with very smiling staff and democratic prices.
We recommend.
How was the contact with the host?
The host is very friendly, the reception is very courteous and offered the choice of several locations.
Tips for new guests?
Just to know that, given the nationality of the host, the atmosphere is rather English-speaking but no worries for us even if our English is rather basic.

This is a very spacious campsite with beautiful pitches of different sizes and different currents. As soon as you drive in here you feel that everything has been thought of here. Although this is a larger campsite, the camping pitches are spread over 4 different parts of the domain and you never get the feeling that you are on a larger campsite. All facilities are excellent and exceptionally well thought out. All small things have also been thought of, such as sufficient hooks in the shower cubicles, enough space so that your slippers do not get wet while showering, etc ... .
There is a petanque court and table tennis table and if the weather is bad you have table football, Willard and Darts indoors in a relaxation room. You also have an extensive library of books in English. (If you want to get rid of French or Dutch books, they are also welcome in the library)
Something else unique, you have a good WiFi signal everywhere on the campsite. There is also a cozy restaurant and cafe and vegetarians are also welcome here.
Dawn and Steve have many plans for their domain and a communal kitchen for trekkers is one of them.
You can also buy some necessary things at the reception.
We will definitely come back here.
How was the contact with the host?
Dawn and Steve are extremely charming and helpful.
Tips for new guests?
If you are really adventurous, you will certainly enjoy yourself 10 km away. In the Skypark of the viaduc de la Soulubre you have a bungee jump, giant swing and downhill cableride.
