Camping between cows and horses in the 'central park' of the Randstad

About this campspace #s003622
Our place is a small oasis between the pastures of Midden Delfland. By bike it is 45 minutes from Rotterdam and 30 minutes from Delft and from behind the trees you can see the skylines of these cities. Drive slowly to the end of the lane with trees and find our pittoresque farmhouse and put up your tent between the fruittrees, berries and vegetables. Once you are there you can enjoy the green landscape with birds, a fabulous sunset (good for taking pictures), quacking frogs, cows and horses from the farmers around us. The chicken scrape around and bring you an egg in the morning. Also our cat Gijs, the sheep Woezel and Pip and dog Tarzan will keep you company.
In the cosy gipsy wagon next to the haystack you can find separat toilet and shower and there is a shared fridge you can use.
And of course we (Leon and Angela) are there to inform you about the surroundings and things to do.
We have about 5 places and you can choose one yourself. There even is a spot on a small penisula.

Meet Angela, your host

Angela’s campsite on her small farm away from the main road and in a sea of other agricultural land was a lovely place to stay for a few nights while visiting Rotterdam and Delft by bicycle. I also loved exploring the nature reserve nearby and to see all sorts of wild birds. The campsite was clean and has plenty of space for everyone. Angela and her partner were there to greet me on arrival and were always around to answer questions. They had prepared a vast amount of tourism information for the region which was helpful for a foreigner like me.
We enjoyed the campsite very much. Wonderfully quiet, wide view and nice host and wife. Worth 5 stars.

We have fallen in love with this site. What a wonderful place! Host Angela is very friendly and hospitable. The garden is very spacious and therefore very spacious and free. Beautiful view over the countryside. In the yard it is a cozy animal life with chickens, dog, cat and rabbit. Plumbing is in a gypsy wagon, is new and neatly clean. There is a shed with kitchen facilities such as a fridge, kettle and coffee maker. Here are also many brochures about the area, games, books and other entertainment. There is also a canopy with tables and chairs that you can use. And outside are several benches, there is a fire pit and hammocks. We were here for 3 nights but would have loved to stay here ...

Angela and Leon have just opened their campsite next to their house - we were some of their first guests! The location is great, you can pick a spot in their large garden. Under the trees, by the horses or even on a secluded peninsula. Angela and Leon are great hosts and ensured that we had everything we needed. We were welcomed with a drink and also really enjoyed the pizza they made for us. There's a fire pit and firewood available. We also made friends with dog Tarzan and cat Gijs. We only stayed for one night but definitely want to come back another time!
