About this campspace

Enjoy relaxing days at 800m in fresh, clean air. A place where you can still admire the starry sky and the moon can light up the night. A beautiful spot nestled in pristine nature. Nearby you will find picturesque bathing ponds that invite you to take a refreshing dip in the water in the warmer months. During the winter months, a ski lift and cross-country skiing area (Gutenbrunn/Bärnkopf) are easily accessible and offer snow fun for the whole family.


Prime location in the bosom of nature. Directly adjacent to a forest area with streams running through it and adjacent unspoiled meadows. Ideal for stargazing and dreaming.
Well-known sights include Zwettl Abbey, the Zwettl private brewery and the Arbesbach castle ruins. There are picturesque bathing lakes nearby, which invite you to take a refreshing dip in the water in the warmer months. If you prefer hiking, the region offers a variety of hiking trails that lead you through the impressive landscape of the Waldviertel. There are plenty of shops for everyday needs and a good selection of restaurants directly in Zwettl and Ottenschlag.
